Personal Site Help - Case Studies

The site reviews have begun!

Last week we announced the opening of a new folder at Mommy's Helper Community designed to help direct sales reps with their personal sites. So far we've had two very brave ladies jump in to ask for help. You can add your personal site here:

Here's what we've learned and worked on so far:

Yvette (www.BeyondTheCandle.com) has learned the importance of having correctly aligned text and how much easier it is to read. While it may "look cool" centered, being easier to read is much more important. Her home page is now very easy to read, and looks great!

She's also jumping into the world of SEO, fixing up one of her internal pages to start. We've done a bit of keyword research for her, and found some nice terms for her to pick from. Over the next few week she hopes to have a site that pulls in traffic from search engines on multiple pages.

The best part of Yvette's site was the layout and the fact she has a newsletter already set up. She knows how important repeat visitors are to her site, and has a way to keep her potential customers close by. Great job Yvette!

Joan (www.GojiHealthAppeal.com) has also posted her site for review. At a first glance we suggested some slight changes to her navigation (more internal links, less links to her rep site). There's also SEO improvements to be made to pull in more traffic. We'll be working with her over the next few weeks with keyword terms she can use.
