It was WONDERFUL!!! Our weather was so unusually hot (high 70's, low 80's) that we actually stopped at a Walmart at one of the ports to buy some short sleeve shirts and shorts- since I had packed sweaters! lol
We saw a killer whale swimming right under our balcony, many pods of dolphins, other whales, icebergs, glaciers and so many bald eagles they were as common as robins around here!
Our water was almost glass flat...so my husband didn't feel nausious at all (thank goodness) and the food was fantastic ( I gained 5 pounds! most of it at the chocolate midnight buffet...lol)
All the ports were lovely- it really was beautiful. It was our first cruise- but won't be our last!! My husband lived in Alaska for just over a year..so it was great to take him back there!! ( I did bring him back again though...lol) _________________ Dawn Berkley

I'm glad to hear you had such a great time, Dawn, and to know you brought your hubby back.
Isn't the food fantastic on a cruise???? I remember the day after I came home, I had to lie down on my bed to zip my pants. Those midnight buffets are killer on the booty.
Congrats again on your accomplishment!! _________________ Sue

Awesome! So glad to hear that you had such a good time and yeah, good to bring your hubby back, rofl!
I've got to convince hubby to go on a cruise. He's not afraid of very many things but boy oh boy is he afraid of becoming shark bait Luckily for the most part he doesn't let any fears hold him back so yeah, we'll be going on a cruise!!
And how awesome to see a killer whale right under your balcony!! That would be just too neat!
Oh and I had no idea it got in the 70's and 80's in Alaska!?!? Learn something new every day!
Take care,
