With the discussion about different affiliate programs it came up about hosting on your own account or using programs that are on the companies servers.
It has been recommended to me, not to use autoresponders and newsletter lists that are hosted on my account. Because once your domain has been black listed you can't deliver anything to those email programs. yahoo is famous for black listing email addys for no reason. Seeing as it would be an affiliate program that I would be contacting them and also those that purchase products from me, this has led me to not look at scripts as much as I might have.
But honestly, that is the only real thing I've heard as a reference for deciding not to use a script.
I'd love to hear why people have decided to go either direction. There are good and bad about both, just like everything else in life. lol _________________ Val
