We were starting a list in the blogging area because that was where the conversation first started about it.

I've had a tremendous success on twitter. Totally worth a few seconds here and there to launch my new projects or ask quick questions. I've found couple of clients on it too.

Get to putting up some posts and then seriously look around at my friends. I have many, many followers that you REALLY want to follow and hope they will follow you too. But you'll need some more good posts put up before they will add ya Wink

I just got started, so that will probably take some time. It looks like you have been using Twitter for a while. Are there any other pointers you would like to give on how to use Twitter effectively.

be consistent
know what you want to achieve by being there
post relevant informative twitts and not just all nonsense
mix it up
i have biz, i have random nonsense, i have info
follow people who are your target market, those who you can learn from, work with
