My first blogs just seconds. A few minutes to load WP to my hosting and then time to find a theme. The posts are usually pretty easy for me because I'm a gabby girl.
But now I can put up a custom site in about an hour or 2. _________________ Val

| Wow. I remember I made a site a long time ago. It's floating around on the web somewhere because my computer gave out on me and I forgot all about the site. I need to really try again. Do you recommend any starter sites to check out? |

Was it a free site builder you used?
I recommend starting a blog with wordpress.com so you can move it easier to paid hosting down the road. But many people love blogger.com and that was what most of us started out with many years ago with our blogs. Blogger.com will always look like a blog however and with wordpress you can make it into a site using pages only and no catagories if you want. _________________ Val

I agree with Val.
Blogger will always be a good place to start if you have absolutely no knowledge what-so-ever and if you're wanting a blog.
However, if you want something that looks like a website and is super-easy to manage, it's wordpress all the way.
As a matter of fact, I'm working with a gentleman that I just met offline a couple of days ago. He's with Shaklee and really doesn't have any knowlege of building a website, blog or anything like that. I'm going to get him set up with a wordpress blog because it's so much simpler for him to teach me and for him to learn.
Of course this is going to be a little lesson myself, lol! Every time I've needed a blog set up for blogging reasons or a website, I've had to have someone else do it for me. However, since I'm going to be doing this for him for free - I can take the time to learn how to do it myself. (Aren't you proud Val? lol!)
Anyway - I said all that just to agree with Val, lol! And she knows what she's talking about ... she's the one I turn to every time!
Take care,
Anita _________________

I am super proud Anita! Teaching others is exactly the way to learn! I love it when I hear clients saying they were telling others what I've told them!!! _________________ Val
