How about shopping groups?

Have any of you joined an online shopping group? I just joined one and I'm anxious to see how it goes.

The way it works is you make your first initial purchase from the person who referred you (or if no one referred you, you purchase from the owner) of at least $10 before tax. You make one purchase each month from any person on the group (you have to grab a person you would like to purchase from). It seems to be very well moderated and it's great to help out other wahms while you get a sale each month.

I already love to shop, so I thought this would be a good way for me to share my Send Out Cards business with others while getting new merchandise each month! Each month, one of them will have to purchase a package from me... I'm hoping they get hooked and sign on, of course Wink

If you would like the name of the group just message me. It would be great to have someone else on there that I know besides the girl who invited me!

I've had good and bad experiences. For one thing I got tired of only get purchases that were the absolute minimum while I was spending more.

But half the time I wouldn't get my orders delivered to me. I'm still waiting on one from March. So i dropped out of them.

I decided, for me, I'd rather take that purchase amount each month and pay for advertising somewhere. JMHO of how it went for me. Smile

I know what you mean Val.... I'm looking at it as a chance to buy some Christmas presents and hopefully get some sales in return Wink

My husband said that he thought I might be able to write off the items I buy as a business expense???? Anyone know if this is true???

Well, this has been going really well for me so far! I've been in 3 for two months now and so far have had sales each month and have purchased items I've needed each time!

The cool thing that is happening is that when I get the item I ordered delivered, I've been taking a picture of it and then putting that on the front of a card through our Picture Plus program with Send Out Cards and sending the person a Thank You note.... I've had two people very interested in my business because of it!!! They've all commented that they had heard of Send Out Cards, but didn't realize it's potential till they saw their product on the front of a card! lol!

So it's working to get me customers each month, and potential recruits!

Beautiful use of the groups Bev! Glad they are going well for you. I'm thinking of joining a group again in Jan. Guess I could for November since I do order monthly from some consultants anyway. lol
