I know there are a ton of PA Mom’s on here and I told Mia that I would pass on her retreat information to all of you. I wish I lived closer so i could go. The place looks great and it’s going to be a weekend all about taking care of just you. My favorite motto!
The retreat will focus on the principles in Mia’s book Time for mom-ME: five essential strategies for a mother’s self-care. Spa treatments and lots of relaxation along with classes to help you remember to make yourself a priority.

If you can make it, let her know I sent you. I promised I’d put up some blog and forum posts for her and help get the word out. I’ve got to find something closer for me to attend. Why is everything always over there that I find?

Sounds cool! I'm on the other end of the state though... and that's a bad weekend for me...
A bunch of the majorette moms are talking about spending the day at a spa in October, that will be a blast! I get along with them so well, and I know it will be a really fun day. We spent the day together a couple weeks ago and went to Smicksburg, which is an Amish community, and we checked out all the local shops and had lunch there. We spent the whole day there and had a lot of fun!

That's so cool. I haven't gotten away with the girls in about 2 years? Possibly longer.  This from going away 3-4 weekends a year, then to never going. Not good, past time for a trip. Especially now that I have new girlfriends that are more positive and less judgmental!
