Hello everyone!

I wanted to take a minute and explain some of the details of buying wholesale and starting your own business.

Before you start, understand a tax ID is a MUST, regardless of what you are doing. Doesn't matter if you are buying supplies to make your own items, or buying a product in bulk to resell - it's the LAW to have a tax ID. You will also need to check with your local and state offices to see what else is required for selling certain items. For example, if you sell ANY type of food products, you may be required to have a permit depending on your local laws.

Next you'll want to decide if you want to buy in bulk, or if you'd rather find a dropshipper. Both have their ups and downs, so be sure to look at each carefully.

Buying in bulk gives you complete control, but you may not have enough room for your stock. Plus you may not be able to sell all your items in a reasonable time. It's best to start out very slow when buying in bulk to test each item carefully to see how it sells.

Having your items dropshipped means you pay someone else a wholesale price and they ship your items for you. Most the time the prices are higher than bulk wholesale, but you do not have to worry about shipping. For those with limited space, this is a great option. However, you have little control over the products and shipping. Stick with well established companies or individuals you can trust for this option, or you could end up in trouble with your customers. They see it as YOUR responsibility to get the products out.

Marketing is a whole other story, which I won't get into here (there's plenty of information out there on this subject). The above is general information on what you need to know about buying wholesale. :D

Opportunities these days are looking for investments at any level. A simple loan can be taken to finance the money for the investment. One of the better options out there is stock trading, the margins are high and the business is successful. Another one is real estate investment, for which one can get a mortgage refinance services to get a lower interest rate loan. Other small opportunities are providing insurances like cheap car insurance or supplying services in the finance sector like merchant credit services.
