Hello everyone, I am new to this website and would like to ask your advice. I just started a blog & am wondering what are the best ways of 'inviting' people to check it out and register to receive it? I would also be interested in ideas on getting people to respond (& purchase/book) to emailed newsletters & blog articles.
I have noticed that the links all work - just can't figure out how to send invitations to leads that I have (I don't want to spam them however) and can't figure out how to find out how 'hits' I'm getting, etc.

Hi Tina,
There are a lot of different questions you hit on that post. So let me just go a little bit here.
You will get better response if you break your questions up into appropriate posts in the appropriate forums. So your blog traffic questions should definitely go into this blog section, but not necessarily the "list your blog" post. 
Your ebook questions can be posted to the online marketing forum for better help.
Also, since you are new we highly encourage you to introduce yourself. We like to get to know our members. 
There is a fine line between spamming people with your information. You are not allowed to just randomly send out emails to even your friends. I hate when my friends hit me a lot with their information.
We have tons of information already on the site here in some of these areas, but please do go and post them separately so this post remains just a place to post your blogs and your questions don't get lost.

Thanks for the feedback, but can you be a little bit more detail. You can be brutally honest, I promise you will not offend me. I need your honest opinion.
Val, I think Wordpress is a lot better than Blogger. I like that I can give it a website appearance.

Hello everyone - I finally started up a blog on the advice of Anita & Val and I think it's going ok. I am having trouble getting images to post unfortunately. I think I've figured out what's going on, I just haven't had a chance to play with it during my lunch break at work.
If you would like to take a few minutes and critique my blog, give me some advice on subjects or additional things you think would add to the blog, I would love to hear it!

My blog is about my business Thirty One. I try to put things on it that will interest my customers. Most of the time it is information about Thirty One but I also add recipes, helpful hints and other things that will interest people that are not my customers .....YET.
