I'm trying to brainstorm places to have workshops other than in someone's home. I know there are issues with some places not allowing for profit events, but here are some places I've thought of:
- The Library
- Schools
- Golf Courses
- Churches
- Hotels
Anyone have any experience with renting space at any of these places? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Melissa!
Long time no chat!! How are ya sweetie?
I've never rented any of those places but I think those are going to be some of your best choices. However, the library should be free shouldn't it?
Stick around chickie!
Take care,

How about the community center or something along those lines? Usually it costs to rent, but it might be worth it. _________________ ~Kara Kelso~

Our park district has community rooms. I know they can be used for events, but I don't know about their restrictions on for profit events.

I'm going to start doing them at the library - I THINK. I'm not sure yet because their hours are fairly limited and sometimes our meetings tend to run late if people start enrolling. It would be a pain to have to tell everyone to leave and make followup appointments. So that's one consideration, is what are the hours of the place you're looking at, and will it work with your typical presentation time. _________________ At-Home Moms:

Thanks for the input ladies. I need to start finding out how much these places cost to rent and then figure out what I need to do to cover my costs.
Anita - I haven't been online much the past couple months. Trying to cut back and spend more time with my kids and my house (cleaning it, that is!). But I'm getting better at prioritizing my time and trying not to get online until the kiddos are in bed. Hope to be around more often!
Take care all...
