What is the secret to getting a good Alexa rating...How can you optimize you site to make this happen? What do they look for? _________________ Designed by Lara - We are a FULL service design company. Right now we are offering TWO for one button and banner design!

Alexa, simply put, is worthless. Not only is it flagged as spyware, but their stats are based only Alexa toolbar users. So if 1,000 people visit your site in one day and don't have the toolbar (which most do not anymore, since there are so many that do spyware scans on a regular basis), Alexa doesn't count them.
Don't waste your time trying to achieve high Alexa rankings because it's really not worth it. _________________ ~Kara Kelso~

And that's what I was coming to say too, lol. The big secret is ... don't waste your time
Take care,

Page rank has nothing to do with your SEO or your actual stats either. Google changes how it does PR whenever it feels like and there is no rhyme or reason to getting a higher PR.
Now that said, even though it doesn't mean anything, I sure do like to see that little green bar go up on my sites. lol Also for my blogs, both PR and Alexa are used on payperpost for what opportunities I can take. So in that case it does matter. I'm moving to other blog writing sites instead because of this actually.
Google should be updating PR again here within a few weeks. _________________ Val

You know, sometimes I think Google's aim is to have no one have any PR. LOL! Okay, so that's a little over the top, lol!
As said, Page Rank and Alexa Ratings are virtually worthless. But yeah, I'm human ... I have the google tool bar. There is something about filling that little green bar and there is something about beating the competition's Alexa Score - it's human nature. But, just don't loose any sleep over it
Take care,

This may sound stupid, but if you can't count on Alexa and PR, how do you know if you have a good site or if you're visiting a good, well established site?
Just when you think you have it all figured out...! _________________ Betsy Canevari
