Up until a few months ago, I had no idea what an affiliate was. _________________ ScottishWallet |

lol...for the most part, unless you hang out in WAHM communities and forums, the average gal on the street has no idea what an affiliate is or what I'm talking about when they ask me 'what kind of websites do you build anyway?' I get the 'deer in headlights' stare when I start to explain that one aspect of my online biz is 'affiliate marketing'. I've gone for the short answer nowadays like 'One of them is a crock pot recipes site and another is toddler birthday party ideas'...that's just 2 of about 10 now, but they seem to be happy with that answer...

Yes, we do learn quick how to tone down the techy talk don't we? I hate it when I'm excited about something I just learned or some big sale and hubby's eyes glaze over. It's not his fault, but still! That's why I'm extra thankful for my message board friends! _________________ Val

Hubby is a software engineer, but made me learn everything myself about creating a website. Both frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I still need his help with database chores. _________________ ScottishWallet |
