Happy Wednesday all! Anyone else spend Friday shopping like me? Crazy
eh? Yeah, I guess so but, we really did get some great deals and well,
it's sort of become a bit of tradition for hubby and I. After the
first hour (5 - 6 AM) we had a great time!

I've been busily working on updating our Direct Sales Company Directory
( http://www.mommyshelperonline.com/direct-sales.html ). With the
"old" version, our advertisers were only allowed a 50 word description.
With the "new" version, our advertisers are going to be having an entire
page for their business exclusively including a lead generating form.
(Definitely more bang for their buck!) An example of one of the new

Once I get the new directory up and running I will be launching with a
great big introductory to our All New Exclusive directory. This
directory allows only one rep per company on a first come first serve basis.

Did we all survive Thanksgiving weekend? I know I barely did - with
family, friends, and a weekend long craft show I was very tired Sunday.
Glad to be back to some sort of normal around here!

Work continues on http://www.TheScrapbookingSource.com , and I'm busy
adding new pages. One was added yesterday, and I hope to get at least
another one or two done this week. I also need to pay a bit more
attention to my blogs, so that's on the to-do list for this week as well.

Time Makes You Bolder
Standing in line at the local pharmacy, I realized
that I am definitely becoming an older person because
I no longer care what people think of me. I also
think I have finally lost the last shred of
self-respect I ever had.

Not only was I wearing form-fitting sweats (and my
form is not something fitting to show like that), but
I then noticed that I had a foxtail in my sweats on
the back of my left thigh.

BARBECUE PORK ROAST

1 pork roast (or beef)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 small onion, cut up
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bottle barbecue sauce

Cook roast covered in water (start with hot water) in crockpot
overnight on low 10-
12 hours. Pour off water and pull meat into shredded pieces. Saute
onion in a
little butter. Combine barbecue sauce, onions, sugar and juice of lemon
with meat
in crockpot and cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, or on low for 3
to 6 hours.
