Note from Kara:

The holidays are officially over, and I'm breathing a huge sigh of
relief. It's been a very stressful month or two, and I'm just glad it's all
over. Unfortunately, now comes the task of putting my house back
together.

Have you set your New Year's goals yet? My only goal is to say focused
on current projects and websites. Which means no new websites.....at
least for a month or two (ha ha). You can read about current plans on our
blog:

Until next time!

Retaining Customer Loyalty

Retaining customers is most crucial to a company's long-
term performance, but strangely, an aspect that
completely confounds managers across every industry all
the time. This seems rather illogical because it is
surely far easier and cheaper over a long period to
retain an old customer than to make a new one. For your
business to succeed, you need to realize that the returns
you get from a loyal customer is far more in comparison
to that which you get from one new purchase.

The Miracle of Modern Medicine

We show up at the appointed time and I escort my daughter into the back
room. The assistant?I think he was the assistant?he could have been
the nurse, the technician, the doctor, the office clerk or the janitor
playing doctor for all I know. Don?t you love the way people in the
medical profession all blend together in casual obscure attire these
days
so you don?t know who is who? Is that so we don?t know whom to sue?
Anyway, the obscure little man in a nametag-less short-order-cook
uniform
says, ?There are two ways we can sedate your daughter. The first
requires her to drink this very bitter liquid that she will probably
throw
up. The second is a suppository.?
