I've got two bridal fairs coming up. I have done festivals/fairs before, but this will be my first professional expo.

This is a great product to market to brides--signature fragrance for her special day and not to mention a great gift for her bridesmaids. I can do a party as an addition to the bachelorette party--get them smelling great before they really start to party.

I love this company.

Hey Angie!

I have my first ever bridal fair coming up on the 24th, so I'm counting on you to come back here and post about your successes so I can "borrow" all your great ideas! Very Happy

Can't wait to hear how it goes Angie. You are so right. That would be a great party before going out for the bachlorette party. I would have loved to get some special fragrances for my bridesmaids!

I agree!! That would be a fantastic gift for your bridesmaids!

OH! How about for baby showers? I mean no, I wouldn't want to put perfume on my baby BUT ... what a better way to celebrate than to create a signature scent just for your baby!

Uh, can you tell how much I enjoy the uniqueness of this company??

Take care,
Anita Razz

I am completely worn out, but I had such a great time at the Bridal Fair! Each bride had to come to each booth to get a stamp to be eligible for the grand prize. I would just take my time stamping and give them my 30 second commercial--most of the time, they would get a sparkle in their eye when they "got" that they could make their own fragrance! I have 6 interested in parties and 80 additional contacts. All those contacts--and the numbers were actually down because of the extreme cold temps we are having.

I had a "guess the scent" game that drew quite a bit of attention. I was surprised at how horrible most were at guessing simple scents (chocolate, strawberry, and roses)! I also had some samples of fragrances--I used some recipes of my upline, Shawna and renamed them for my purposes--one called "Lucky" and one called "Honeymoon". The Honeymoon scent was drawing people to me asking what the wonderful scent was.

I was doing the fair in a mall--and they put me in front of Bath & Body Works-- Very Happy

Anita--sounds like you need to have a party or join! Did you know Cheryl the owner of Wahm.com message board is a UB Consultant? That is actually what made me look twice--I thought of all people she should know a good company when she sees it.

Well, I need to get some rest--I got a day of making phone calls tomorrow!

No, I didn't know that, LOL! Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in having a party if there was a consultant near by. Joining ... I looked, I really did, lol. However, that start up kit is just a little out of the price range right now Wink

Take care,

$499 was a little out of my range too, Anita! However, what I did was buy the $39 biz pack which came with a website and started to advertise. In the meantime, I had 30 days to purchase the rest of the starter kit, so I started selling things on Ebay--and prayed. I sold $534 worth of things on Ebay and bought my UB kit.

I'm certainly not pressuring you personally, but just posting that if you really want it, you can find a way.

Hi Anita my name is Theresa and I will be joining Urban Botanic come October. I was just reading your posts with Angie about having a workshop if there was a consultant near by. Guess what? I live in PA. Not to far from Harrisburg. What date would you like to schedule your workshop! LOL

LOL! That's what I like to hear! A women who goes right after what she wants!!

I'm not too far from Harrisburg either. May I ask a little more of an idea of where you're at? I'm from Mifflintown - pretty much smack dab in between State College & Harrisburg (about 45 from each).

I look forward to hearing back from you!

By the way, please do stop in up at the Introduce Yourself section and please do just that, you'll find plenty of fellow PAers Wink

Take care,
Anita Razz

I am from York County. I live in Wrightsville. Probably around the same distance from Harrisburg you are. Maybe a little less. Depends which way I go.
Hey I saw the opportunity. What can I say! LOL
I have been looking for a business for a lot of years now. I finally found one. I'm just patiently saving for the kit now. Well maybe not patiently.
I am so excited about UB, I can hardly wait to get started.

I've heard of Wrightsville. At least I'm pretty sure I have. Hmm ... maybe not. LOL! There was a girl here who hasn't been around in a little while who's last name was Wright and I'm pretty sure she was from PA. Could be where I got that from? LOL But I do have a pretty good idea where York is.

Take care,
Anita Razz
