Well ladies, Feb. is almost over and we are well over half way through the first quarter of the year.

Let's post about how we are doing on our goals. If you can't remember what you had posted you can go >>> here <<<. However if you have to go to that link then I know you probably aren't doing that well on them since you should have them posted by your computer. Wink

So go over those goals and post how you are progressing. Also post if things have changed. Life happens and we need to adjust for it. Or our focus may have changed along the way.

I personally will be doing some revamping of my goals. I'm going to be focusing on the newsletters still, but I have to set some actual monetary goals for myself. So look for a new goals post to happen.

So here's a recap of what my goals were previously and an update next to them.

Focus on the sites I have
I am doing just ok with this. I haven't actually started any new sites yet and I will make sure that the 4 I have are tip top and all my to do lists are completed for them before I start new one's.

Newsletters are my main goal
I missed getting one of the 2 newsletters out last month. But I have lots of articles ready to go for March.

Redesign of BMW
Redesign is complete, now I just have to get the affiliates back on in an orderly fashion. I also will be switching it over to xsitepro within a couple of weeks, so I don't want to work too much more on it. Just more to change over. Laughing

Organization
I'm not doing half bad on the desk and offline organization. I have all my files in order for my clients and am not losing a single thing for that. Laughing My desk has been staying mostly clean. When I have to pick it up it only takes me about 15 minutes rather than the hour or more that it would take before.

Wasting time on the computer and prioritizing what I do also needs to happen. I have weeded out many boards and I also need to weed out newsletters. I have found that if I prioritize my list I will get more done.
K, this is still a big issue for me to overcome. This is where the changing with what life throws you comes in. Right now hubby is gone 5 days and 4 nights a week. Then on the day's he is home he is studying. This throws major curveballs at me. Emotionally I'm a mess! So staring at the computer and surfing around has been a big problem lately. Laughing

Again, this is a big reason why we are here to repost our goals. I have to get back on track and get a better plan in order. I'm not a structured person. But I'm learning that I have to be in order to get anything done. Dang it! I hate being structured. It goes against everything an aquarius stands for. bahahahaha

Everyone check in and look for more goals info to work on.[/b]

Ah geez, now isn't that a crazy thought!!

Participating in the Think Big Challenge has actually changed around how I work on my goals - kind of. Because ultimately, the revamp of MH has been one of my goals for a very long time but it's one of those goals you just tend to put off and put off. In the meantime though, I've started quite a "brainstorming" list of things that I would like to do with MH. So now I can't wait to get the revamp done so I can work on the rest.

Focusing on the sites I have ...
This is a biggie for me too. And with my new "brainstorming" list I started thinking oh, I can build a whole website around this. Then as soon as that thought entered my head, I had to come up with a way that it would fit in with MH. If it did not fit with MH and could not just be added - then the idea was tossed.

But ultimately, my main goal for this whole year (going with the Show me the money mantra) is to number one automate a lot more and number two monetize MH to it's fullest Wink

I want to throw something out here at ya ... and you're probably going to hate me, lol. (But that's okay cause really ultimately, you'll love me Wink ) But my first reaction to your comment that you missed getting a newsletter out last month was like OMG - she missed what?!? We almost NEVER miss sending out a newsletter issue. If we do it's because both of us are seriously ill, there was a major holiday the day before, the same day or the day after. Other than that ... missing a newsletter issue is a big, big, big, no - no for us. And when we do miss an issue because of one of those reasons, we still send a little something out that there won't be any "real issue" this week, blah, blah blah. So, the next time that thought even half-way crosses your mind ... you can think of me .... Shame on you

But for now, I have some major catching up to do due to my recent disappearance, lol! Then I can move forward more smoothly.

Take care,
Anita Razz

Val,

I just reread your post many times. You've provided many ideas for me. I really need to make a list of what I want to do over the next year and then work on a plan to get there.

For example, I want a newsletter, but right now, I'm not sure what direction I'm going in. I need to find that focus and then work forward. Thanks for this great post Smile

Forgive me for what I'm about to say here ... but sometimes, you just have to be tough. And that my dear is what I'm going to be. Laughing

Shocked You don't have a newsletter?? Shame on you Having a newsletter is one of the most important business tools you can possibly have. Now, put that high on the top of your list of things to do in the very near future. Oh and if you're looking for an excellent mailing list provider and autoresponder, I highly recommed Aweber. Wink There's a testimonial in the "It Worked For Me" section here on the boards.

If you need any other help getting your newsletter started, feel free to let us know .. we'll be more than happy to give you a hand!

Take care,
Anita Razz

Audrey,

When you say "what direction you are going" what exactly are you referring to? Your two sites in your sigline are a newsletter in themselves. Wink Just send out a monthly, bimonthly, or weekly tip from tupperware, an ad for tupperware/current specials, and one or two recipes. Ta-da, your newsletter is complete. Wink

I didn't post my goals over on the other thread... hope that's o.k.

I have 2 sites coming online that are near completion... just a few more elements to add and some testing to do and they will be ready to launch.

I kind of got sidetracked a little bit as I did not have plans for these at the end of '06, but now that they are almost ready, I'm glad I did.

They will be a nice "tie-in" for Patty Gale Designs and PGD consultants, too, although people won't be required to be a PGD consultant in order utilize them.. .(hope that makes sense)

So, while my original goals for 2007 may have altered slightly, I'm seeing how everything is coming together.

Val,

I have information I send to customers. I have information I send to possible recruits...but I don't have anything I'm sending to the general publics. Does that make sense? Maybe you don't want to buy from me and maybe you don't want to join Tupperware, but maybe you'd like a monthly kitchen tip or a montly kids recipe or a monthly new crockpot recipe. I want something to offer you.

Ok....this weekend I start it Smile Anita I have Aweber....now I'm going to put it to use again.....you two are GREAT...you were just the push I needed. Hugs to both of you.

Kind of makes sense Audrey, I see what you are trying to say. But ALL newsletters are selling something. Whether it is blatant or not is the difference.

So your customers and those looking for tips would be the same thing. Recruits is a whole thing on it's self.

So for instance your tupperware would be household tips as well. You could maybe set up a different autoresponder that had less "ads" for tupperware in it if you really write up a lot each month for your tupperware customers. But your household tips and recipes would still have ads for tupperware in them. Especially the recipes, if you could tie a recipe into a product then it's even better.

Good luck in getting the fit for you.

It's done!!! If I ever wanted to come back here, I knew it had to be the first thing I completed this weekend. (big smile)

Actually....this raises an excellent point. I went to a Bat Mitzvah this morning. I babysat this incredible girl when she was only about a week old. In her speech she commented on how she knew there were folks there who had known her as an infant.

Tonight, I'm meeting friends for dinner and then we are going to a concert. (just a small local gathering).

Tomorrow, I'm attending a funeral for a woman who lived until 98. She was a famour opera singer who I had the pleausre of knowing only in her last 8 years of life. After that, I'm going with some friends to a comedy event, leaving there and have a conference call at 6pm.

So, I knew my weekend was busy. Being accountable to Anita helped a ton. It did not let me say "oh I didn't have time". I made time this morning before leaving and finished up when I got home.

Accountability can sometimes be the difference between completeting a project and not completing it.

Thanks Anita!!!!!

One of the better options out there is stock trading, the margins are high and the business is successful. Another one is real estate investment, for which one can get a mortgage refinance services to get a lower interest rate loan.
