LOL! Sounds like we were. We did have little dachshund and a big ole boxer. Unfortunately our boxer ran away .... but he's still very much a part of our family in memories

sorry about the boxer 
our dobie is 5 yrs old and the mini chi is 2 yrs old
dobie acts like he's still a puppy, he's my baby
the mini chi is my daughters

I love dobie's !!! My family breeded them when I was younger,and they are really great for kids becouse they are so protective.
We did have one that my Aunt took,and he was not just protective,but POSSESIVE!!! Never hurt anyone,but he would get very upset if she left him to go anywhere that he could see her talking to other people! It was funny,but we LOVED all our dogs!

oh my red dobie is 5 1/2, acts like he's a puppy still and yearns for attention big time! he's the big baby but yet scares the daylights out of people w/his look and bark! LOL
