I haven't talked with my "Lost fans" lately!
I saw "Jacob" and we rewinded and slowed it down. He is creepy looking--bearded. Then, on a Lost message board, someone had a split screen of Jacob and Locke--they look very similar. Same forehead and chin, but Jacob obviously has more hair.
I think Juliette is such a liar. For one thing, she said the underwater hatch was abandoned--not so. Desmond is also a liar, because he was not telling Charlie the real story--I'm betting Penny shows up in that underwater hatch. The Lost board I read pointed out that the episode where Locke was in the "crazy tent" and saw Boone, that Boone said "Desmond is helping himself".
Did anyone catch the "rabbits" showing up in episodes? When Ben was younger, he had a rabbit and used it to test the "electric fence". Then this past week, Alex was skinning a rabbit. She had blood all over her hands when she ran to talk to Carl her boyfriend. Also note that the new underwater hatch, "The Looking Glass" (reference to Alice in Wonderland)--the symbol is a rabbit on the Dharma thing.
I'm so looking forward to the 2-hr episode, but SAD that I will not get my Lost-fix until next February!!!!!

Ohhh, you brought up lots of good stuff!
I'm looking forward to this weeks big episode as well.
I'm totally cranky about the whole Juliette thing. Makes me wonder if Jack is just stupid or really in on it now.
I didn't analyze the Jacob image, so missed that they looked similar. But that would make sense why the island talks to him.

I just got to watch it today - while I was away at training last week guess what channel the tv did not get ! I was beside myself to miss it LOL
BUT I did catch the rabbit - and I wonder why it is all women under the water, did they think maybe they could have children there, since not on the island ?
Next week will most likely answer ALOT of questions BUT leave many NEW unanswered ones to ponder over - It doesnt start again until Feb my gosh I will be "lost" by then LOL
Shame we cant all get together for a season finale party !

Oooh, good catch. I wonder if that is what it is. Also didn't they used to call pregnancy tests 'rabbit tests" or something like that??
Can't wait to see what happens! I'm so annoyed that we will have to wait until January for the next season though!

Just looked to make sure ABC is bringing LOST back and it is BUT will be in an undecided as of yet day & time slot - will depend on how well the new shows they have on the Fall Line Up do -
BUT at least it is coming back - could NOT have dealt with another plug being pulled - is 444pm just a little over 3 hrs till the finale , till answers and then MORE questions for us to ponder all summer

Wow, I never caught any of that rabbit stuff. You are so observant. We did back up the TiVO to try to get a look at Jacob, but he was so hard to see.
I had to record it last night. I'm going to watch it today.
I didn't like that Locke died...if he really did die.
My brother-in-laws friend knows Locke and says that he just bought a house in Maryland.

From the other Lost message boards I read where they "dig deep". The newspaper article Jack was reading supposedly says:
The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft. Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening."
If you enlarge the article you cannot read all of the above, only parts of it. This supposedly came from someone on the production team. Also, FYI "Hoffs-Drawler", the name of funeral home, can be rearranged to say "Flashforward"--an anagram.
Another thing I read was that the guy who plays "Ben" said that only Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly (aka Jack and Kate) knew of the scenes that they did in the flashforward. All the rest of the cast had to watch it when it was broadcast just like us!
I'm thinking that the explanations are going to be in "time travel". I think the basis of time travel is that all times exist at all times just like space. Also, note that "The Looking Glass" sequel to "Alice in Wonderland" speaks of time being out of order.
More things I learned on the other board: Apparently, Charlie couldn't swim during the first season. Has time been altered and now he is a champion swimmer? There is speculation that "John" in the newspaper clipping may be Michael (teen son Walt). Michael would be eaten up with guilt for leaving behind everyone and have to change his name, because how could he explain his escape (he killed two survivors). Walt never wanted to leave the island (remember the burning of the raft) and probably had a falling out with him, thus not attending the funeral. They also think that is also Jack's problem--guilt for something he did to get off the island.

I can't wait! I think I may have to rent last season so I can get a refresher of what's going on.
I saw the strikers on tv with their signs and one of them said LOST on it...ack. I hope they don't leave us hanging!

There is no LOST on my tivo this week. Did I overschedule my tivo and miss it?  I'm going to go look on the tv station's site and look, but I freaked out this morning when I didn't see it on my to-watch list.

I see it says new episodes start on April 24th. But I obviously didn't pay attention to the fact that we had the last episode for a few weeks.
I feel so much better. I didn't know what I was going to do if I ended up an episode behind. I don't like streaming video on the computer, it takes too long. Even with my dsl. But I totally would do it!
