Help decluttering my office

Up in the goal section, I mentioned I wanted to get my office decluttered (or at least I think I mentioned it LOL). Anyway, Kev just bought me a new desk, it's a corner desk and we will be putting it together this weekend (I will have so much more space when my current desk is gone!). I have to have my current desk cleared off and stuff sorted before Sat. I got started this past weekend but only got as far as emptying one drawer that had files in it. I transferred those to one of the two metal filing cabinets I have and threw out old files I no longer needed. THAT felt good!

Now I have 2 more drawers to empty plus the rest of the stuff on and in the desk. I'm thinking of just emptying everything into boxes, sorted of course and then go through them as I go to put things back on/in my new desk. I will have much less space with the new desk which could be a good thing Laughing

I have so many pens/pencils in mugs and containers and I want to definitely remove those and put all the pens/pencils in a shoebox or something.

I have a few index card boxes...wondering what I could use those for as far as business goes. Any ideas?

So much to do and now so little time Wink

but I can't wait to get this office organized. Whoo hoo!

Seriously, I hate to do it, but it`s so nice when it`s done.
I`m trying hard not to let my office here at work get cluttered. It`s easier actually, because I know ppl come through all day long. In my home office I could close the door-lol.

I think it will really help me get back to business. The clutter in this office is probably what hinders me from getting much done Razz

I did get a plastic shoe box size bin from Walmart yesterday and I have emptied all the mugs and other holders that held the pens and pencils. Spent some time testing to see which ones worked and the ones that didn't were trashed. YEA!

I know it will feel great when I'm done so I have to just keep going Wink
