Okay, very early stages! lol! I wanted to start a craft blog.... My ultimate goal is to have one that I can use to make some money, whether by adsense and/or affiliates....
So, I checked out a couple different blogs and actually posting the same thing on all of them to see which ones I liked best.....
Anyone that has any experience with blogs, can you please check these out and let me know which one will work best in the future for adding adsense and affiliates? And which one you like the best....
I'd really like to cut down and just do one blog, but didn't want to spend a lot of time on just one and find out it didn't work well for what I want it to do... (did that make sense???)

Oh geez! You're NOT going to like my answer! Something tells me it's not going to make this any easier on you. 
As far as the affiliate programs / adsense ... I'm sure you shouldn't have a problem with any of the 3. I of course can answer for certain for the Blogger. Actually, w/ Blogger, you can set up an adsense account right within your blogger settings and for the affliates, you can simply edit the template for anything that you would want on the side and create links in the posts.
Now for looks, I love the Wordpress logo except for it's hard to see the title in amongst everything else. The .blog.com blog, well honestly, I'm not sure I care for the looks of that one at all. The blogger blog, I really like everything but the logo at the top.
But, if I absolutely HAVE to pick one ... I guess I'm gonna have to say the Blogger blog ( http://crafts4fun.blogspot.com )
Just my opinion!!
By the way, great posts already! And this is going to be an easy blog to ad adsense to! Great idea to put all those posts on each blog and have us help you pick  You did a great job! I bet it's been driving you crazy the past couple of days!

I like #2 the best. 
I think it`s the colored background... I don`t know...but that one caught my eye.

Okay, I fixed the logo. I meant to do that before and forgot! 
But I need to pick just one! lol!
I personally like this one best http://crafts4fun.blogspot.com in looks, but I like the wordpress and blog.com because they categorize things.... and blogspot doesn't... unless I'm missing something.
So you're saying I can do google adsense and affiliates on any of them?

You're looking for honest opinions, right? Now I don't care for the white box around the text. Yes, I can see it much better but no, now I don't like it

For the affiliate links, the only one I don't know about for sure is the 2nd one. I honestly wouldn't know why you couldn't but ... I can't say yes 100%.
For Adsense, again, yes you can definitely add it to Blogger & Wordpress ... and again, I don't know why you couldn't on the second but I can't say that for sure. I'm really not familiar with that.
However, I do want to point something out that I found while searching for a definite answer I personally have no experience with this but this is a very reputable message board

Well I always choose wordpress every time. I'm not going to choose it on how the blog looks, that has nothing to do with it. I choose it because you have so much more flexibility. You can create pages in your wordpress admin and have it be just like a website. So if you had an affiliate you wanted to promote hard, just create a page with a bunch of info on it. Then you can also do posts about it.
The catagory issue is a big one for me as well. I hate having to try and remember what I labeled something before so it will end up with same label. I end up with a ton of labels down the side and none of them are what I really want them to be labeled. 
Now, I'm not dogging blogger, cause I've used them for years and when I messed up my hosting I had to go back to them. Both my personal blogs are still on there while I've tried to figure out what I did to mess stuff up. But they aren't even close to holding a candle to wordpress. They are getting better, but not quite there.
All that said, I bet my friend could help you with that wordpress logo you made. I love the background image you used, it just doesn't flow with the title image. Let me know if you want me to ask her.

Val, I'll take any help I can get! lol!
I think I'm going to go with the blogspot for now..... Like I said, I don't like that I can't categorize them.... but I like the look at lot more. I don't know! I may go ahead and keep updating the wordpress too... but I hate having to update two with the same information!  I don't know.....
I've got so much to learn, and I really want to give this a try and make a little extra money, but don't want to waste a lot of time. I wish there was a class I could take to give me some hands on information. I'm one of those people that has to be shown how to do something... I hate having to read instructions! lol!

Me too My favorite color is blue and I liked the green, but the blue is much better!
I got some ebooks listed.... and have a few more things to do too... I planned to go to bed, but the more I worked on it, the more I wanted to do!
I keep looking at other people's blogs and coming up with more ideas...
The next thing will be to start getting traffic to it.... I have no idea how to do that! More learning!
