I was just reading somewhere the other day (and can't remember where I read it) about various options for contact info in newsletters. I was thinking of just using my home address however I hear that is not the best way to go.

I called the UPS store where they would give me an actual address for a postal box but they want $66 every 3 months Rolling Eyes Then I checked with my local post office and the rate there is much better, $14 every 6 months.

Would a P.O.Box address work well for my newsletters or do people need to see an actual address to feel comfortable doing business through my site.

Any input would be appreciated!

A P.O. Box is plenty. Actually, I think alot of people expect to see a P.O. Box online because a lot of people are not comfortable using their home address. I used to be that way myself and we used to use Kara's mailing address on everything because her only option is a P.O. Box. Now it doesn't matter too much to me and I inlcude my own mailing address.

LOL! Did you follow all that?

Take care,

I totally followed that Wink

I'll be heading to the post office tomorrow afternoon to get my P.O. Box.

Do I need to wait to sign up for Aweber until I have the P.O. Box info or can I go ahead and get Aweber paid for and start getting a feel for the service and then add that info after I get it?

Thanks for being so helpful!

I already answered your PM but figured I'd answer you down here also just incase someone else needed to know also Wink

You can go ahead and purchase it before you get your PO. I'm almost positive Aweber will ask for your mailing address while you're purchasing. I would just use your current mailing address for that. That's simply for their records (billing etc) and will not be published anywhere. You will be asked to submit your mailing information within Aweber when you're setting everything up.

Oh, and you're very welcome ... I'm more than happy to help! I consider it my job Wink

Take care,

I have thought about a PO box lately. But then does it matter if I have my domain's public. My info is all over the web already with my domain names.

I guess the difference would be that someone actually has to go to whois.com and see all the info. Where the newsletter comes to them with the info? I do get a lot of senders from whois. lol

Just opening that up for discussion. What does everyone think?

Val,
I never even thought of that. Hmmmm I'll have to see what hubby says. That may be $14 I just don't need to spend Laughing because I'm not paying to have my whois info hidden or whatever they call it.

Thanks for bringing this up....

I just mentioned this topic to Kev and he said to go ahead and stick with the P.O. Box to use for the newsletter/email correspondence. We know that people are going to find actual info if they really want to though Wink

Angie, didn't you have a problem with identity theft or credit card fraud or something? I remember you had a problem w/ something. In that case, I don't blame you one bit for taking extra precautions Wink

Although, I have to say Val ... you brought up a really great point.

Take care,

WOW you have a great memory Wink

Yep, we had a problem with credit card fraud and it was a total nightmare although I caught it quick enough that it was only just over $300 BUT it took a lot of time to take care of it. Anyway, yes, we are very cautious now and I only use ONE credit card to purchase anything online and it's no longer our personal one.

It can happen to anyone, anywhere but it's best to try to take as many precautions as we can these days.

Well, I'd love to say sure I do! But that's not usual for me, lol!

And I can only imagine what a pain that was. I so don't blame you for being cautious.

I have a box at the UPS Store. I get all deliveries made there, not to my house. So for me, it's always been worth the money.

In addition, anywhere where it says "no P.O. boxes" you can use the UPS box as it's a real address.

You're going to love Aweber!!

Opportunities these days are looking for investments at any level. A simple loan can be taken to finance the money for the investment. One of the better options out there is stock trading, the margins are high and the business is successful. Another one is real estate investment, for which one can get a mortgage refinance services to get a lower interest rate loan. Other small opportunities are providing insurances like cheap car insurance or supplying services in the finance sector like merchant credit services.
