Ahhhhh, that is why I should not be posting so late. Now I can't find the dang link. The auction I found it on is off and for some stupid reason I don't see that I bookmarked it. Again, up way too late.

I'll be on the search for it. I didn't bookmark it cause I knew I'd have the link here. Laughing

Angie, a plug board is just a banner board. Plugs are a reference to a size button. It is usually 88x31. Very small. I have one on my working wahm blog, but I haven't even let people know yet, so there aren't any plugs on there. Just the board. I've gotten some clicks from using the boards, so they are worth the little amount of time I put into posting to them.

Just do a google search for plug board and you will find some, or WAHM plug board.

Yes! I'd love to know what a plugboard is, too.

I have no clue.

My plug board. Just put the url to your plug, then your site url including the http:// and you'll be plugged.

Like a link directory, but it is always changing.

I knew if I went plugging tonight I'd find that list again.

So here it is for real this time. It's actually a cool looking site.

I'm working on my own list on my blog as well.

So let me get this straight... I add a page to my blog just for this plug board? Then I try to get people to add their buttons or banners to the site....

So this would give me more links to my site, which helps with my page rank, correct?

Where do I get a button made? Or is this something my dd Becca could do for me since she designed my banner?

Anita- thanks for the reminder. Yes, I will add it to the blog. I'll try to get to it tonight and add it to all of my blogs that don't have it right now.

Bev- Yes, to adding a page for the plug board and people just come by and add their buttons. I honestly doubt that it will help with page ranking much. But it will bring traffic to your site and that is good.

Yes it is something Becca could probably do. Just have her make you a small button 88x31. If not I had one made for $5 I think. Kathleen at Connecting Rainbows has done a ton of work for me over the last two months and is very inexpensive.

I'll get Becca to do it. She LOVES doing stuff like that! She honestly is setting up her own blog to try to sell banners too! She's going to go to school for graphic design and already knows tons more than I'll ever know!

Well tell her to get to it. I can post it on my blogs and I have many people ask me all the time about buttons and banner designers. Wink

This is what she did last week:

Becca's Banners

I looked at it quickly last night and told her she needs to make it look a lot more professional! lol! You can tell a 16 yo girl wrote it... she didn't capitalize some of her words and needs to add more to it. We'll work on it before we start spreading it around.... but it's a start!

Here's one more list:

http://kimikinsplace.com/Plug-Board.php

Patty, you design awesome banners. Create a small 88x31 banner. I store my banners on photobucket.com Then depending on where I place the banners, I either link them to my Tupperware site or I link them to my recipe site.

For the site owners who have plugboards -- if your plugboard was hosted at plug-board.com, you may find that it is no longer working. It appears that the service has changed to plugme.net. I was able to go to this website, login with my old plug-board.com account, and grab the updated HTML to get my pluboard working again.

Just wanted to pass this info on...
