could live off what they make w/their business(es) if they had no spouse, BF, significant other and/or family to help them?

just curious.

perhaps it's the single sole provider part of me that is curious how many people, if they had to, could live off of what they make all by themselves...
and that also includes no welfare, no alimony, no child support--- just solely what you make yourself.

aren't I just full of questions today! LOL

Just me? Yup, without a problem. Now, if you're adding in my kids ... eh, it could be done but boy it would be REALLY tough and we'd be pretty poor, lol!

Take care,
Anita Razz

P.S. Feel free to be full of questions! We love it!

A few years ago, I was doing extremely well with a direct sales company and was bringing in a lot more than my hubby... but the company folded and my income went down the toilet Crying or Very sad

So now I work full time out of the home and have recently started several blogs that I'm working to build and hope to make lots of money from!

ahhh, thanks ladies! That makes me feel good! I'm enjoying blogging very much, even though I'm not making much money yet. But I figure if I already enjoy it when I'm not making money, I should REALLY enjoy it once I do make money, right??? lol!!!

hahaha....

And where to you see yourself 10 years from now?

think about that one...

With my previous direct sales company, yes, I could have survived on my income alone. We wouldn't have had all the extras, but the bills would definitely have been paid.

Currently, however, I'm just starting over, but I'll get there!! Wink

I could support myself with my income as long as I had medical insurance too! My lifestyle would certainly change and I don't want to go backwards in that. I am enjoying having money now to go and do things!

Hi ladies! It's been a while since I posted but I am back in the swing of things, new website, doing a little writing here and there, selling at the local farmers markets and hitting the stores with my jewelry hoping for a BIG bite!

So the question? Could I right now make a living at my business? The answer is no....but.....I affirm that I am going to and I believe it each and every day.

I write about this subject a lot and my jewelry line is based on the following premise: To believe that we are all successful in what we choose to do and everything that happens with our lives is meant to in the order it is happening. We will be successful. Making A LOT of money IS one way to be successful but so is touching the hearts of others through your product and helping people. If you think this way and invision your business as well as yourself being a successful I/we will be.

So every 3 months or so, let's talk about this again and all catch up and see how we have done. I'm in!!!

Very Happy Very Happy

Hey Lynn! It's so great to hear from you! We've missed you Wink Congrats on keeping busy!

It takes a long time to break even not alone make a profit. You just have to keep plugging and keep the great outlook you seem to have already!

The company I am with has just come out with a checklist plan for duplicating what the top leaders do on a daily, consistent basis.

They say that if you do these 8 actions steps every day, 5 days a week, which is 40 steps (points) a week, and do it for a year, in one year you will be earning at an income that someone makes working 8 HOURS a day, 40 hours a week.

Wow. Since the management of this company is very conservative and keenly careful of federal laws governing NWM companies and income claims, I believe it! Slow and steady consistency is what will get us there.

(To answer the original question - no, I am not there yet. I'm relying on existing assets and income as I build my business. But the tide is about to turn!)

Great question Tara. I wish I could live on my own, but not yet. I am happy with where I am and if I can double every year then I will be in good shape.

Opportunities these days are looking for investments at any level. A simple loan can be taken to finance the money for the investment. One of the better options out there is stock trading, the margins are high and the business is successful. Another one is real estate investment, for which one can get a mortgage refinance services to get a lower interest rate loan. Other small opportunities are providing insurances like cheap car insurance or supplying services in the finance sector like merchant credit services.
