Yeah I thought the right person won also. It was a pretty uneventful finale I thought. Kind of disappointing. But where was Danielle's long time boyfriend? Nick just seemed to be hanging on her, dude, you only knew her for like 5 weeks. Get a grip!

Yeah, some parents are sueing Kid Nation, haven't kept up with the details. But DUH, you sent your little one's off to the show, you knew what the show was going to be about. You know there are dangers in your own house, let alone out camping. All I can say is DUH! Brick wall

They have casting calls up for the next season of kid nation, so they obviously aren't worried about it. I'm sure cbs deals with frivilous lawsuits daily. My kids want me to put their names in for the calls, but I just don't think so. I'll think about it, but I just don't think they could make it unless they were together.

Yippee, for so many of the shows starting back up. I just wish Heroes wasn't on Mondays. That's football for cripes sake. Why not Wed? lol

Soooo excited that Twisted Evil won! Whoo hoo Smile

and this Danielle and Nick thing is crazy. I know it was a game but why in the world would they bring him and not her boyfriend unless the boyfriend was smart and didn't want to have anything to do with her any longer Laughing

And as far as Kid Nation....I can't believe some people are so sue happy. It's sick! They signed the form to let them go (two of the moms were on Ellen today) and apparently had to go through a lot of hoops before being considered for the show. They need to give it a rest Evil or Very Mad

I have a feeling the boyfriend is gone ... I'm sorry but what a rotten thing to do on national television. Just my thoughts anyway.

I did watch Kid Nation last night. Curiosity killed me. I'll probably watch it at least one more time before I really make a good decision. Although, I have a feeling it will be more than once because my daughter is really into it. Just from the first episode though, I think it might actually teach my daughter something. A little something about responsibilty, earning money, working for it and making a good decison on what should be bought or when money should be saved. Maybe anyway, lol.

But dang, it was really hard to watch these kids that were 10 and 11 on there. My daughter is 11! I see her whimping out and quitting early ALTHOUGH, she's determined too. She'd do just about anything to prove someone wrong (like her mother, lol!) So, I'd see her putting up with a lot. And I also see her having fun "playing store" and such. I just don't see her enjoying how hard the work is, lol!

As far as the sueing goes ... They HAD to know what they were getting into when they signed up. HAD to! And if they didn't, then it was their own fault for sending their own children in there without knowing! But, for someone to be standing behind a camera and letting a child get hurt with bleach, eh, now we're stepping over the line. I couldn't let it happen and if it were me, fire me if I'm not allowed. I'd have to stop it.

Just my 2 cents, lol!

Later!
