I am now with 3 companies. But 2 of them are mostly just for me and my personal needs and wants.

Oh boy, probably too many but I really enjoy myself. I have my own company, Mary Medley Gifts, and I rep for -
Mineral Girlz (mostly online sales and workshops)
Watkins (personal use and sell to family and friends)
Tupperware (my sisters got me into this)
Scentsy (love this product)
Usborne Books (personal use and gift giving)

I actively work Noah's Ark Animal Workshop and Urban Botanic. For personal use: Lady Emily, Watkins, Send Out Cards. (BTW, I may go with Affordable Mineral Makeup next time I need some makeup!)
I am considering adding a jewelry company soon. My NAW biz has always been pretty slow here in WV, but it is picking up a bit (like 2-3 workshops per month). My Urban Botanic is the joy of my life--very fun and wonderful product/process, but the money flow has been slow since we only sell 4 products at this point. I earn about $80-100 per party, but after working plans with much higher sales, I'm a little spoiled. Thus, I'm considering adding jewelry--leaning toward the higher commission plans.
I know that some people think that one company is the way to go and I think one company usually dominates. However, I have always enjoyed diversity! I honestly think I would hate doing more than 5 Noah's Ark workshops a month--they are fun occasionally, but not a love of mine--but they do make a nice change of pace for me.

I have cut back. I started with 1 and was consistant. Then I burned out do to life happenings and some changes with the company. So I began adding.
So now I really only have 1 direct sales business I work, which is Usborne Books, and then my business resource site Passiontosuccess.com.
I've noticed I am much more successful when I can focus on just one or two things.

I believed in only being with 1 company. Unless you are in some just for personal use and discounts. That way you can focus 100% of your energy on that one company instead of dividing it up. BUT I found another company I really liked and I couldn't help myself. I just had to join. Plus there is no one actively working it in my state at all so there's so much room for growth. Just couldn't help myself.

If you are a party plan collector like me, you might want to check out this book: "Refuse to Choose" by Barbara Sher. Apparently, some of us are just made to be this way (cannot find our ONE passion). The good news is that Aristotle, Benjamin Franklin, and Leonardo da Vinci are also in this category--makes me feel better!

I had been with Mary Kay for many years and then found lia sophia Jewelry. As I began to become involved with the jewelry, I found I no longer wanted or had time for anything else.
The jewelry is much more profitable and with a team nationwide I'm happy to have just the one to manage.
Not that I am not tempted sometimes..but then again we all need guests too!!

I own Heartland Custom Creations, but it does have a rep program. I am a rep with AMM also which I started with personal use and saw how well others were doing with it. So I have decided to start spending more time working AMM.
I also am a rep for Creative Scentsations. This one is more for personal use and fun. The discount is so good it is easy to get candles lovers to sign up as reps because there are no fees or quotas.
I need to have a little chit chat with DH. I am going to be working more which means I will have a little less time to be super mom and he needs to start helping with little things.

Jeesh! You all are amazing! How on earth do you have time for more than one business? I work a Mia Bella Candle business and am either retailing, doing fundraisers, or looking for new team partners. I can't find enough hours in the day NOW. You guys make me tired just reading how many businesses some of you are handling -- lol.
