Hello 
I am thinking of staring a podcast soon..I am trying to research it and make sure I KNOW what I am doing BEFORE I jump in! LOL
So, does anyone have tips for me?
What are the best places to get the software to DO the podcast?
I have more questions...LOL....But maybe your tips will answer them!

This is something I know nothing about. But hopefully Rebekah will pop on in here for some suggestions. But I did find some programs to use for it. 
Rebekah and the girls (sorry, I'm bad with names) use www.talkshoe.com and it looks great.
I just found http://www.icecast.org/. Have no idea about it, just throwing it out there.
Please post things when you find them. We'd love to learn with you!

I also took my talk shoe talkcast and added it to itunes today with no problem... very easy! You can listen to the talkcast from our blog http://4fabmoms.blogspot.com or find it on itunes- I don't have the link! Then you can download it, remove it from talkshoe if you want and then resell if you choose. It is free and all you need is the phone and a computer.
There is a referral link, but I have to email it to you I think- I still have not figured that out.

I usually don't make that mistake! Thanks for pointing it out and I fixed it. I just did not know how to link with the words showing and the link not, but Val taught me and now I am an expert!
Someone just gave me an audio editing software site that is free- and maybe too far over my head!, but she used it to edit her first show she did with us.
It will help for all you future podcasters!

I sent myself the referral, but the only thing available on the site is an email referral form. You cannot even skip adding in the name. It is a newer service and they are trying to improve it, but low key now. When I get the email I will see if I can post what they send me!
