Hi Everyone,
My name is Judy and I have a two year old boy. Which is what brings me. I was looking for a place to talk to other moms sice I believe am still new to beinnng a mom. As well as to get advice on my online buisness. I'm trying to launch my very own website. When Anthony's(my son) first birthday came around I designed his birthday invitation. All my friends and family loved it. I used my adobe sofware and created an invitation printed on photo paper. After my friends started asking me to do their child's invitation I deceide that this could bring me some money. So I created a website. I love for you to visit my website at www.memorableinvitations.com I'm not trying to advertise here for free but I would love other mom's honest opinon.

Welcome to MommysHelperCommunity.com! You sure have come to the right place to meet other moms AND work on your online business.
And where were you 10 minutes ago? LOL! I just sat here and filled out 24 birthday invitations to my daughter's 11th bday party. However, since her bday is next Sunday, I don't think we would have been able to do anything now. But, I'll certainly keep you in mind!
I think your website looks great! Do you know if there is a way you can move everything over to maybe center it on the screen? I've seen a lot of websites like this with everything on the left so I'm wondering if it's a program that does that or something?
May I ask what you've been doing so far to advertise your business? One thing I suggest that should be super-easy for you is article marketing. You could easily write all kinds of articles about various types of birthday parties. You can post the articles on your website to help the search engines find you and then you could submit them to various article directories.
That's the first thing that popped into my head ... I'm sure there's plenty more if you let us know what exactly you're looking for.

Welcome to our group Judy!! I love your site. What a great idea!!! I have gotten lots of great advice from everyone on this board. Everyone is so friendly. I am a mom to a soon to be 12 year old and a 19 month old. Definitely being kept on my toes with them and then add in my home businesses. Hope to see you around the boards.

Thanks for the advise, so you suggest to write articles and post them on my website. Where do you suggest that I post them. The only source of advertising I have done is selling them on ebay. But I'm not so familar as to where to advertising.
Well enough about buisness, thank you for welcoming me to your place.
By the way how do you get your website to show in your posts.  |

I agree with Anita, article marketing is the way to get the word out with one time marketing work.
