Crystal, the owner of Enchanted Potions has posted about Soldiers NOT having a way home for a visit with family and the need for airline tickets !
Is a shame that those who fight for our rights might not be able to visit with loved ones before deployment
10% of EVERY order will go into a fund, to help pay for a ticket! Tell everyone you know, spread the word and lets help "Bring a Soldier Home"!

Our government has struck again!
As most of you are aware, my hubby is currently in Texas training to deploy to Iraq sometime in September.
The commanders have approved leave for his unit and they will be able to come home for a couple days this month. Here is the catch. The Army has only gotten 1 plane for hundreds of men. The plane has 50 seats. They are filling the seats with the lowest ranking men (mostly E-3) they will have 14 seats left and will pull names out of a hat for those seats. The remaining soldiers have to purchase thier own round trip tickets to be able to visit home before leaving for war. (ridiculous, isn't it)
For many soldiers (including mine) this means they may not be able to make it home due to the financial hardship this will cause their familes. The average ticket price has been about $500 and seems to be increasing daily.
Luckily, a local church is going to be assisting Glen and I with our ticket cost but there are still literally hundreds of soldiers left trying to find a way home.
This angers me in so many ways as a wife, mother and American but I won't get into all my political views on this.
Starting today Sat August 4th, Enchanted Potions will take 10% of EVERY ORDER and place it in a special "Bring A Soldier Home" savings. At the end of August, we will take whatever money we have and reimburse a needy soldier's family for their ticket. If we get enough money early enough, we will actually purchase the ticket for that soldier. Hopefully no one will be left behind but I would feel better for EP to actively try to help than to do nothing.
...tell them WHY you are trying to sell these (EP) products and ask them if they will buy just ONE item to help bring a Soldier Home.

What a great idea!!! I will definitely go check out your site. I am a military spouse and have been through this and have seen this happen to many, many families! Glad to hear someone is doing something about it.

It is truely horrible that they can haul them away from loved ones, but can't get them back for a couple days visit before going to Iraq or anywhere for that matter
There could at least be an airline that offers a discount of some sorts - I have flown a few times and there are ALWAYS empty seats - why not donate those to the military ?
You know if a retailer say like Walmart- Pennys- anyone would offer that 10% of all sales would go to something like "Bring a Soldier Home" It would increase sales and show they support our troops !
I have posted this everywhere online that I know of, so that everyone will know what Enchanted Potions and the Reps are doing.
Crystal is going to post for us each Monday the amount that has gone into the fund - I will be certain to post here the results
