In my experience, these are the two most important tips for affiliate marketing. However, they probably should be reversed. If you build the content (that is RELATED to your products) then the traffic will come. Of course it's not ALL about the content but it is ALOT about the content. And if it's NOT related - well then you're just wasting your time. If you're looking for more information about digital cameras, you're not going to waste your time on a site about whales - even if they do recommend the best camera to capture the moment. This is exactly why Google Adsense is so popular. Google does the part of "finding the products/sites etc" to promote and matches it up to your content. You just worry about building the content.
One thing to remember in Affiliate Marketing ... if you're going to do it, add a little SEO learning in there too. You'll need it
