I want to start building a list for my homeschooling blog. I just wanted to put it out here, because it means a lot of back end techy stuff in order to get it done. But I will figure it out. By Thanksgiving is the goal.

Thanks Anita, I will.

First off - does anyone know a plug in for word press that allows you to have an opt in for newsletters?

Maybe I should post this on the blog section.

I don't know of any plug ins off-hand but I will tell you what we use, and that's Aweber We use Aweber to host all of our lists together. I HIGHLY recommend Aweber for all your newsletter lists Wink

If you want to learn a little more about what I think about Aweber as well as hear from some other members who here also recommend them, you can view our post here:

I can't say enough good things about Aweber because they rock! If you're serious about building your newsletter lists, I highly recommend going Aweber all the way!

Hope that helps some!

Take care,
Anita Razz

Hi Amber,

As Anita suggested, Aweber is definitely something you want to check into.

It's very simple to use, and you can add an html signup form right on your blog, too, without the need for an additional WP plugin.

All you need do is put the html code in your sidebar.

You can see mine here, http://www.pattygale.com/blog
