Hi everyone! I was a member here a while back (like a year or two or...) and have recently 'found' this place again so I thought I had better re-introduce myself instead of just barge in and start posting like a regular. LOL!
My name is Karen and I am a rep for Story Time Felts (formerly The Story Teller) and have been for 9 years. I live with hubby Greg and 3 kids who are 13, 10, and 3 in sunny northern California, about an hour north of San Francisco in the beautiful wine country. We just got back from camping up in the Redwoods, I just love it here!
I work my business full time right now but am also a school teacher. I usually teach 1 day a week but this year so far there wasn't room for me - I was bumped by someone with seniority when enrollment went down - and it has really been a blessing to have that 1 extra day a week to work from home. When I do teach, it is in elementary schools, lately it has been 3rd grade. I am able to use my products in the classroom which is really fun. So for now I will stick to my own kids and my customers! 
I am also involved in the Direct Selling Women's Alliance (DSWA) and have started 2 local chapters in this area. That has been so rewarding and if you are in direct sales of any kind, you are really missing something special if you aren't in the DSWA yet. All the women I've met have been phenomenal and the classes I've taken (including their leadership certification course) have truly changed the way I do business for the better.
I am looking forward to participating more and put this board on my menu bar so I won't forget to check in once in a while! I hope to get to know you all better as well! Thanks for being there!

Good thinking re-introducing yourself  I think you'll meet quite a few new people around here and you'll even notice a familiar face or two too. Please make yourself at home and no more disappearing! LOL!
