Hello! My name is Tasha Christensen and I live in Boise Idaho. I have 3 kids; 3yrs, 6yrs and 8yrs. I have been married for 10 years and have been blessed to say the least. My husband puts up with a lot.
I have two special needs kids so they need me home with them. After working for about a year outside of the home and trying just about every "work-at-home opporutunity" out there, I found a wonderful team of moms I work with and working with them allows me to stay home with my kiddos.
I enjoy scrapbooking, singing, and spending time with my hubby when time allows.
I have never really done this before...shared info about me and my family online before but it should be an adventure. It is great to be here! |

Welcome Tasha,
Please feel comfortable jumping in here. I have been married to my high school sweetie for 13 years now and the kids are 12 and 9. We live south of Seattle.
Our best friends youngest has trysome 1 (spelling?). He is severely high needs and has battled the heck out of ALL odds. He should never have lived through his first year, let alone to the ripe old age of 10!!! He is a turkey and we love him. But we never know when we will lose him and that is so hard.  He can get violently ill in milliseconds and go to the hospital. I've tried to prepare my kids as much as possible, but it will still be devastating when it happens. Thankfully we are up here in UW country and they have recently found some awesome doctors that are doing preventative tests.
Anyway, I commend you on keeping your sanity with two special needs children. One is hard enough. If you ever need someone to run things by, feel free to email me. I am used to hearing it all and am non-judgemental! Sometimes you just need to vent to someone that knows.
