Hello everyone! Here is a silly little thing that I do a lot! When I have time, I make double the recipe of whatever I am making for dinner and freeze half of it in a container. I put a little label on it that says what it is and the date it was made. This way when I have had a rough day, have a party, or just don't feel like cooking all I have to do is pull out a container and viola! Home cooked meal(Heehee)is served! Then I usually just whip up a side of veggies or a salad real quick. My freezer currently is stocked with pizza hotdish, scallop potatoes and ham, chicken noodle soup, pea soup, different spaghetti sauces, and a chicken cheese rice broccoli dish.

Yes! I don't do it as often as I would like however, it is a great way to save time. Done correctly and it can save money also because you can buy the ingredients in bulk.

I totally agree with that!

I do that a few times a week! Some of the frozen meals I keep and some I give to my daughter (she picks them up every 2-3 weeks).

I do that too. Make a bigger batch of things like stew or lasagna. Lasagna you can freeze individual portions. Or if you have left overs of pork roast or whateever you can make a different meal with it the next day.

Yeah, we do this too! Great idea!

Our family of five is mostly 2-3 now due to scheduling... so I cook my regular batches of dinner and make frozen dinner out of the leftovers!

Great to come home and have something ready to go if you don't feel like cooking.
