1. Send catalog to other in home party reps.
2. Hold an open house
3. Give a catalog to the receptionist at your dr.s office, dentist office, hair salons, and so on.
4. Include a flyer and business card with local bill payments.
5. Ask all of your friends to help you reach a goal of...(10 parties this month or something)
6. Host your own show. Could even be a fund raiser for your favorite charity.
7. Have your husband/significant other promote your products at work. (I have had a lot of luck with this one!)
8. Ask past hostess at shows to talk about their free products.
9. Mention how much your average hostess receives in free products.
10. At each show mention your hostesses goal. This helps with sales too.
11. Share upcoming specials at shows and during phone calls.
12. Tell your hostess how much she saved by having a show. This plants a seed for a future booking.
13. Make sure you talk about your hostess plan at least twice during the show.
14. Be friendly and enthusiastic.
15. ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK!
16. Set goals and review them constantly.
17. Use newsletters to create interest.
18. Follow up on maybes. Even no's. No may not mean no, it may just mean not right now.
19. Start a referral program with hostesses. For every referral they give you that books a show, give them____.(Shopping dollars, a free product...) (I like to use shopping dollars. They are good the night of their friends party. This way each of them benefits!)
20. Review orders from previous shows. See who has been to more than one show and call them, telling them how much free products they could have gotten. Also look for people who are at more than one party.
21. Write down the names of people who owe you a favor, follow up on that.
22. Offer bonuses for those who book on days or months you need an extra show.
23. Let guests keep the catalog. This will spark interest, or they may hand it off to someone else.
24. Have the hostess tell why she wanted to have a show.
25. LOVE WHAT YOU DO! SMILE!
