Is Your Website Finished Yet?
You've heard the rumors... having your own website is vital to your direct sales business. Question is, have you even started it yet?
If you are still just thinking about building a website, you are losing out on sales daily. It's been proven time and time again. Direct Sales reps with their own websites are more likely to succeed than those without.
Just some of the things you can do with your own site include:
- Exchanging Links
Exchanging links with other sites not only increases your traffic, but your search engine placement as well. This is something that usually can't be done with rep sites, but is one of THE most important factors in online business success.
- Add Personal Information
More personal information means more trust. If you were a customer, which rep would you buy from? The one with a regular rep site with zero information about themselves, or the one who gives details on why they are with the company and lets you get to know them a little better?
- Add Personal Product Reviews & Recommendations
In addition to your own personal information, you can also add personal recommendations. In addition to your own personal information, you can also add personal recommendations and testimonials from past customers. I'm much more likely to buy something when it's been recommended personally by someone that's used it. Even if that person is a rep, if I can see how excited they are about this ONE item, I am more likely to buy it.
Alright, so you are sure you need to get started on that site. But the problem is, you don't have a CLUE where to start. Be watching next week and we'll give a checklist to get started on your first website!
(Note: Before you start, make absolutely positive your company allows personal websites!)
