Oh silly me. Open source application. GPL/GNU license. Basically everyone can open and edit it you just can't sell it. I'm sure you know that, but I'm thinking someone may read this some day and not understand GPL/GNU license - that's me always thinking waaaaaaay ahead. lol
That is what it reads in the middle of that auction. So if its open source software and it's that easy to create an affiliate site I know moms who I could teach this to as a kinda starter type website - Practice.
I just don't know where I can find this kind of web application.

EDIT, maybe I should contact him and offer him $5 for a link to the software lol
EDIT again. I took a closer look at the website they provided and at the VERY bottom was a link to the creator of the software:

My friend and I have been on the hunt for something very similiar. We found some sites for sale that use a program and they say it is very easy. But since it's the holidays, neither of us have the extra to purchase one and check it out.
If you read the ebay description, you will NOT get the script when you pay the $5. They put it on their host and I'm sure you will not be able to get into the hosting as if it is a regular site. You will just get an admin area to poke around in.
Sorry I can't help you more since we are looking for the same thing.  That's kind of ironic. I'll try to remember to post back when we have some more software choices. We've come across a couple, but they don't work correctly when loaded.
Also if you want to do some research on your own. They are typically listed with something like automatic RSS feed or affiliate RSS feeds, etc. It atleast gives you a place to start searching. Best of luck!

I don't think I was as clear as I should have been. I meant that I was hoping that if I gave him the 5 bucks he'd tell me where he got his application, since it's GPL, it's free. I like free, I can work with free, I can reprogram the hell out of free. lol
