Yep, we'll get started here pretty soon to just get the basics done. First basic is to go over 2007 goals and see what you hit, what you still need to get done and what got dropped totally from your business.

I have many 2008 goals. I want to write more articles. I want to add more pages to my site. I want to increase my customer base. I want to build my team. These are just a few of my goals.

I feel pretty sure YOU know all of this already ... I believe you've done this a time or two now, lol! Wink

The first, most important and the one that's on my list every year (lol) is to get more organized! This is an absolute MUST. As I've said, every year, this is on my list but seriously, I HAVE to do this. If I want a profitable and successful business, I MUST do this.

The first thing I need to do is set myself a very strict schedule and stick to it as much as I possibly can. I have just way too much on my plate right now to not do it this way. Just a few things I need to include into my "on a regular basis schedule".

--> MommysHelperCommunity.com message boards. I need to visit the boards at least once a day.

--> MyWahmSpace.com message boards. I need to visit the boards at least once a day.

--> My personal page. I need to check my comments and reply at least every other day. (MyWahmSpace.com - *I also need to update my page*)

--> I need to visit at least 15 new pages a week. (MyWahmSpace.com)

--> My Groups. I need to start making AT LEAST one post and/or reply a day on each group I'm a member to and/or moderate. (MyWahmSpace.com)

--> I need to make at least one blog post every other day on my blogs 2Wahms.com & one for MommysHelperOnline.com (on that I have to create first, lol!)

--> I need to actually UTILIZE the writer I hired to help me finish all these articles! I need to put out one article a week.

--> I need to actually UTILIZE Lauren who will be submitting my articles to directories and posting in appropriate areas once a week.

--> Of course I need to check my email and the email for MyWahmSpace.com every day.

--> MommysHelperOnline.com will be receiving a complete and total makeover this year. I haven't been able to break this down into smaller attainable goals yet BUT just off the top of my head, and depending on whether or not I have to work at my other job that day, I need to do AT LEAST one to five pages a day. Chances are, it will end up being more than that but we'll see how much time it takes to do a page. As long as I do at least one page a day, I will be happy.

--> I need to send out two newsletters every other week for MyWahmSpace.com. One is for our "VIP members" and one for our "regular members". I actually requested to be in charge of this and have NEVER missed sending out a newsletter until these ones and boy am I ashamed!! If you know me at all, you'll know that I'm constantly harping on the necessity of a newsletter - for me to miss sending a newsletter out - there's something SERIOUSLY wrong.

I'm sure there is more but those are the ones that I can think of right this moment.

A few more things I want to accomplish this year.

--> As I mentioned, MommysHelperOnline.com is getting a complete makeover so, first on the list is hiring a web designer. This is actually the easy part, lol! Of course I'm going to choose my favorite designer, Lara. I just need to come up with some idea of what I'm wanting so she has something to start with, rofl!

--> I need to hire an advertising manager. Yes, I already have an assistant with some of my advertising. (And Lauren does a FANTASTIC job so hopefully she wants the position, lol!) I want someone else to be a full service advertising manager. I want her to handle ALL ad placements, reminders for renewals, removal of expired ads AND even answering questions. I spend a lot of time answering questions such as "what's the best advertising for me" --- "I have this much money - what should I choose?" --- "How many visitors do you get?" --- "Is this spot open?" etc etc. Yes, even though I answer some of these questions right on the website, I STILL get the questions asked. It really is a time waster for me.

--> I want to create an "FAQ" about my advertising too. (Although YES, the questions will still be asked.)

--> I will of course need to implement a small price increase on my advertising to help cover paying the advertising manager.

--> I need to create a feedback form.

--> I need to create an email form service of some sort. I miss out on way too many emails that are not getting through the email system. I need a setup that I can be almost guaranteed to recieve ALL my messages. Dang email anyway! I can all the spam I don't want and then some but, forget about the legitimate emails!

Alrighty, that's about all I can think of right now. Again, I'm sure there's much more, lol! To be honest with you, the above looks more like a "to do list" rather than goals. But, of course the ultimate goal is MORE MONEY and these are just the little goals that need done to help me reach it Wink

Wow! It's BEFORE January 1st and I have got a HUGE start on this! Woo Hoo!! Now let's hope this is a GOOD sign, lol!

Wow Anita! You made me tired just reading your goals!!! Laughing

I've got a few goals, but don't have them written down yet... I think that's something I'll concentrate on this weekend.... let's see, if I were to brainstorm right now, I could come up with a few.... I've got a few personal goals as well as money making goals....

~ I know weight loss/getting in better shape is at the top of my list. I'm going to Florida in February with Jillian and the marching band, and then on our cruise in May, so I need to get serious!

~ Organizing the house a bit better... already started this. Hubby cleaned out the basement since he's been home this week opening up a LOT of space down there! We're planning to use it as our exercise room and I'm going to take all my sewing stuff down there so that I'm not sewing on the dining room table any more! Embarassed

So it will be a craft/exercise area. We're working on cleaning it up a bit more and organizing things down there. It will free up a lot of space upstairs! When I was a scrapbook consultant, I used to hold my crops down there, it is a very large area! But over the past 6 years, we've kind of used it as a catch-all junk area!

~ Business.... get more serious about my blogs in order to make extra money for the cruise! Need to do some more reading to figure out how to increase revenue on them besides doing the paid to post type stuff. Have lots to learn there!!!!

~ Pay off debt! We've been paying extra toward our credit cards and hope to have them totally paid off this year. Also, we want to pay off dh's car by the beginning of summer so that he can buy a new one and Becca can have his old one for going to college. We also have a personal loan that will be paid off in March Laughing

Yeah!!! We can put that payment towards the car loan. I've been watching our credit rating each month and hope that it continues to go up!

~ Put more money into savings each month! College for Becca is going to be expensive, so we need to put more money towards it each month.

I did start a Valentine's Day article. Now is the time to actually write and submit them.
