I just learned of Qassia, a new site that is a credit-driven intelligence engine coupled to a cascading tag-based web directory.

At Qassia, you can add your websites for free without having to add a reciprocal link.

You can also get quality backlinks by adding intel (short for intelligence) to their site. Intel is information. You do not have to be an expert to add intel and it does not have to be a long document. Intel can be about a person, a company, a place, a thing, or just about anything. The idea is to create a fabric of intelligence stretching coast to coast, covering the society we live in.

Qassia rewards members is several ways:
You get a backlink for every piece of intel you add
When you add intel you get credit (Qassia dollars) that determines your rank in their directory. The more credit you have the higher you rank
