Ha, for a change I don't know where to post something. I figure this is as good as any Wink This is a long post but it is a new way to make money on your website - you might be interested so please read Wink

Recently I was introduced to something called PPP - Pay Per Play. The basics is this, you put a small piece of code onto a page your website that will play a 5 second audio once every time a new visitor comes to your page.

I'll be honest with you, my initial reaction was - ick. Nah, that will annoy my visitors. Well luckily, they had a really good sales page or I probably wouldn't have even gotten into it, lol. I read more about the program, listened to example ads and even went as far as to put a sample ad on a sample page of my site to see how THAT sounded. I was pretty surprised. Like I said, it's only a five second ad and it only happens on the pages you place the ad. AND the best part is ... it's only played once per visitor.

Now I really want to give you a good example of an ad but I feel guilty because if you click the page, I will get credit. I really wish there was a way I could put a sample ad on my site that I would not get credit for. Hmm ... maybe there is. I can't test this because I can't hear my own ad more than once, lol. If you want to hear one, try click http://www.mommyshelperonline.com/start-your-own-home-business2.html If that doesn't work and really want to hear one, go ahead and go to http://www.mommyshelperonline.com/start-your-own-home-business.html but PLEASE try the first link FIRST!! (Or else I get credit, lol!)

Actually, I was wrong, THIS is the best part. It's set up kind of like Google Adsense. It's set up as adsense in the way that first, you get paid every time the ad is paid and two, the ads are set to "fit your content" (Sweet!) However, the difference from adsense is, visitors have to actually click an ad for you to get paid w/ adsense AND we don't know exactly how adsense is "figured" for your pay.

For the PPP, you're paid every time someone hears the ad AND you know, you're going to get 25% of what an advertiser paid. No guessing there.

So, I signed up ... figuring I'd give it a try and see how things went. I decided I wasn't going to recommend it just as of yet till I got to see exactly how things went. Well, it's been a couple of weeks now AND I decided I better start telling people now because right now they're taking what they call the "core" group. I guess you could call us "founding members" so to speak.

The reason I wanted to tell you all now is incase anyone was interested in checking it out themselves, you should do it fairly quickly. They're only taking so many core members - after that, members would be just "partner members".

The difference between a "core member" and a "regular partner" is this, core members are able to recommend this to others and create a "downline so to speak". What happens with this downline is you earn a commission from your downline. Here's a simpler breakdown.

Anita - Core Member refers Lauren
Anita earns 25% of what the advertiser pays every time an ad is played on Anita's page.
Anita also earns 5% of what the advertiser pays every time an ad is played on Lauren's page.

Lauren - refers Val
Anita now earns 5% of what the advertiser pays every time an ad is played on Val's page.

So, I would earn 25% of what the advertiser pays every time an ad is played on my site and 5% of what the advertiser pays every time an ad is played on a page of my "first and second downline".

Now this is one tiny detail that I'm not 100% sure on and I will be checking into but if I read it correctly ONLY Core members have the opportunity for this. So, if you're even the slightest bit interested, you should join now so you can at least get in as a core member.

Again, the ads are only 5 seconds long and I myself do not find them annoying. Actually, I find it rather cool. Once they're out of beta I'm probably going to become not only a publisher but also an advertiser. I think this is an awesome new way to get your message out there!

Please note PPP is in BETA. The official launch is set for February 1st. I believe they will continue to be in BETA for a little while after the 1st though too till they make sure all the bugs - if any - are fixed.

Wow and I almost forgot ...

Now that I told you all that ... I HAVE to share this with you too Very Happy Something that is going to give MommysHelperOnline.com a LOT more exposure Very Happy Very Happy

If you sign up and when you start the "training" ... if you're still directed to a site called 2020.com, be patient. Do NOT follow his ideas of "marketing/promoting" PPP.

I started getting my training and was VERY disappointed. The guy they have doing the training was teaching people to - well basically spam. YUCK! I was very upset with this and replied to PPP. Told them I was very unhappy with the way they were teaching people and that I would love to recommend PPP but I refuse to because of the way they were teaching things. I told them some specific things I didn't like, why and even went as far as offering better advice ...

Me and my big mouth ... LOL!

Not really though. I just took on a very large project BUT the potential exposure I can get from this is UNREAL!! I was asked to re-do the training. I agreed to but I also asked if I can recommend my products and/or any other things that I would like to add - including my affiliate link and asked if I could host it at MH. All replied was with a resounding SURE!! They've given me free reign for the entire training manual AND people will be sent to MH to get it!! Dancing

So, if you don't join for yourself, join and give it a try to support me!! LOL!

Sorry, I just had to share! The exposure potential for MH for me is HUGE and I'm so excited!!

Now I have to get back to work on it ... this really is a huge project with huge opportunity - I'm VERY excited!!

Later!

Well the training manuals are coming along well. But boy oh boy is this going to take some time. I guess that's mainly because I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to things like this, rofl! Laughing

They've also begun their "soft launch" today. They decided to do a "soft launch" - letting the ads begin playing slowy as to make sure the system is working properly. This of course is usual with a company in BETA and I don't blame them one bit for doing so. Crashing the system would NOT be cool, lol!

I'm actually getting excited about this not only because I'm excited about making money (well of COURSE I am - I'm not afraid to admit that one, lol!) but I'm also excited to get this going because I want to advertise!

Although, I might be looking to hire someone to read my ad for me Embarassed I get to nervous with stuff like that and I want my ad to sound professional of course. The way things are done is you call and record the advertisement over the phone. So I'm thinking instead of having a crappy sounding ad, I'll hire someone to read the ad for me. Someone who isn't a big wuss like me, lol!

How are the training manuals coming along Anita?? I don't want to do anything about signing up for training until you've got them done - don't want the other guy's training. Wink

ROFL! I don't blame you. I'm expecting I should be done by the end of today. Okay, I'm really hoping so, lol! But seriously, I should be.

I got caught up on the "How to Contact Website Owners". I'm sorry, Charles is a great guy with some awesome marketing skills - I know this because he knows the potential of sending every recruit to his site for the training (exactly WHY I was thrilled to take over this position - I mean can you imagine sending all these affiliates to YOUR site!) Anyway... great guy and I really think he knows what he's talking about BUT ... This is how you're supposed to contact website owners:
http://www.seo2020.com/ppp/how-to-contact-website-owners.html

No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

I got stuck on that subject last night before I had to leave. I was hoping I could wake up this morning w/ fresh ideas but ... they're just not coming to me. Aside from completely leaving that section out?? I'm seriously considering it but ... I'm afraid that would tick some people off. That is just NOT how you do it, period. As a matter of fact, I'd like it to be removed completely because you DO NOT do this. You don't contact people you don't know out of the blue ... you just don't.

It's spamming, plain and simple. Whether or not you include your affiliate link is irrelevant. Know what I mean? I'm just stuck here big time!

Hmm ... you know what? I think I'll ask around here on the boards and see what others say. Besides, you know me ... I'm all about giving credit where credit is due Wink

Phew ... maybe that will help!

Take care,
Anita Razz

Curious to know how it's going, Anita... the site is closed to new members right now.

It's been going ... the beta has been going a bit slower than I would like ... however, we're talking about a huge network here so I just have to be patient, lol!

Ads are playing on the majority of the sites involved, commissions are being paid and more importantly ... being paid.

They have placed a temporary hold on the signing up of new affiliates. They're doing a bigger push for ad sales instead. They ended up with an insanely amount of affiliates joining. To keep it fair to the current affiliates so that they truely can earn commissions on 100% of their traffic, they decided to place the hold.

From what seems to be happening, I feel sure this will open again - probably in the near future. I honestly don't have anything to back that up officially but I really think it's looking that way.

They're in the process of training the advertising sellers. I myself am looking into selling the advertising also. I plan to take full advantage of PPP. Between being a core affiliate, selling advertising and being an advertiser myself ... yep, plan to go all the way, lol!

Does that answer your questions?

Would you like me to contact you when the affiliate sign up is open again?

Take care,
- Anita Razz

Just a quick update here ...

They have just opened the affiliate program back up. And they've not only opened the affiliate program ... they've opened the Core Affiliate Program. Meaning if you want to join, now's the time to do this because they will be closing the core part and a core member is what you want to be.

Making a long story short here ... being a core member means you will always be able to build your downline and earn a commission on their ad plays.

Just being able to sign up will always be there (unless of course they put on another temporay hold) but ... what won't always be there is the ability to sign up as a core member.

Once the core affiliate program is closed, people will still be able to join but will only be able to join as a "regular member" (for lack of a better term here). Regular members will not have the opportunity to build a downline or earn an extra two-tiered commissions. Make sense?

I'll post more details about the most recent update tomorrow. I just wanted to stop in and make a quick note about that.

OH! And one more thing. If you were one of the 1000 people signed up to be placed on the waiting list, they're will be contacting you on Monday @ 4:00 EST.

If you were on the waiting list and do not hear anything by Tuesday, I suggest to go ahead and re-join

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Take care,
- Anita Razz
