You just knew I would be back didn't you? 
Here are a few questions I have. Any help would be appreciated.
I just published my first post on my blog but I have a question. Lara had made my name appear on a clapboard for the signature but it's not showing up in my post. Does anyone know how I would make that show up?
Also, how do I get Feedburner buttons and stuff on my blog?
The other issue I am having is I cannot figure out how to use the right sidebar, only the Sidebar 1 shows up in the widget section. I just don't get how it all works LOL Maybe someone could explain?
I totally get how to add stuff to my right sidebar on my blogger blog but can't figure out WP.
I have an email in to Lara, my designer but wanted to get working on more if possible so thought I would check in here with my questions.

Well i can't help you with the signature thing. I've never used one before.
You can go into Options and then click on feedburner. Then put the feedburner feed into number 2. It will come up on your site then and you won't need to put the button somewhere else. It should show up in your template.
I would have to go into your admin to see about the sidebar. If there isn't two sidebars in the widget area, then you can add things to your other sidebar in the theme editor. You'll see a file that says sidebar and you can put buttons right in there for wherever you want them to show up in your html. Just put the code in.
I'm not sure if I explained it well enough for you. Sometimes I'm better at that than others. My sinus' are killing me right now so I may have just talked myself in a circle.

Thanks Val!
I went to Options and there is nothing about Feedburner there. Can you give me more instruction on that?
And as for the sidebar, I guess I could go in to the theme and add stuff but I'm so afraid to mess it up even though it's all backed up LOL I wonder why there aren't 2 sidebar options in my widget area. UGH

I have a few plug-in's installed, so maybe the feedburner is one of them. I thought it just came with the WP. If you click on options and then in the links under options there is no feedburner, then you need to install the plug in. That is why you are not seeing it.
I can install it real quick for you if this is not something you are comfortable with. I'll be home this afternoon and then up all night working on the web. It won't take me long. Oh and if you want help putting things in your sidebar let me know.
I can have you send me a copy/paste of your sidebar code, in a notepad document. Then I can show you where to put stuff so it will show up where you want it.
PM me if you want help with it and then I'll give you my instant messenger information. It's much quicker to converse over IM.

Did you get this part figured out? If so, having it on the 'clapboard' ... does that make it automatically appear in every post?
Considering there's two of us blogging ... I think it would be good to have our signatures on each post - that'll really stand out as to who wrote it.
And I need to contact Lara to design me one

Yes, I had a friend help me out. For it to show up, I have to add it (the name clapboard graphic) every time I do a post.

Oops forgot to update:
Lara is redoing the template for me so both sidebars are widget ready.
I also still have to find the plug in for the Feedburner. I *think* I can get that at Feedburner for Wordpress. The only thing now is that I subscribed to my own blog and in my Google Reader it shows title unknown and not the title of my blog that I added to Feedburner. UGH I wish things were a little easier but I'll get there, one day

Sorry but I am totally lost 
I went through everything under options in WP and don't see anything for Feedburner.

I'm so sorry! I did a quick search for the plug in and it didn't come up and feedburner.com doesn't have a plug in from the front page. It is a plug in, so sorry to have wasted your time. But after you activate the plug in, that is where you will find it.

Okay, maybe I'm lost then. Can you explain to me what the "clapboard" is. I'm not sure I've ever heard of it before. I've been doing a search and all I can find is wordpress blogs that have the words white clapboard house in it

Thank you! Ok, I feel like a dummy for sure as that zip file was already on my computer DUH. So, I went ahead and uploaded it to Host Gator and now it's in my WP. I put in my feed link like it said but now I'm not sure quite what to do to proceed to get the little orange looking feed thingy on my left sidebar, for now anyways. Can you help? Oh, Anita, a clapboard is one of those things they use in the movies, like the ones here and Lara made a signature for me that has a clapboard with my name on it so it goes under every one of my posts. It just goes with the theme of my blog.
Does that make sense now?

I thought you were saying she made your name on a "clapboard" and the "clapboard" was something that was supposed to make it automatically appear on your blog posts but it wasn't working.
And then I posted this:

Mine comes up automatically. I think it might be built into the sidebar already. But when you use your widgets for the sidebar you can add the RSS feed widget to where ever you want on the sidebar.
