I'm not sure how to even ask how to do this but here is what I want to do. I would like to use my angienewton.com domain (not live) as a blog but I have no clue how to make that happen in cpanel. I know how to add a WP blog to a current domain but those are sites I have built with XSitePro. How would I just make my name domain directly a blog? Does that make sense?

Hi Angie,
As long as angienewton.com doesn't have any existing pages on it, you can use Fantastico (in Cpanel) to install Wordpress in the root of the domain. Don't install the blog in a subfolder.
If you do have any existing pages on the site, you'll need to delete those first.
Login to your cpanel, you should see an icon for "Fantastico". Click on it, then on the left side, you should see an item for Wordpress under "Blogs." Click on that and then click on the link that says, "New Installation"
Leave the "Install in Directory" space blank and Fantastico will install WP in the root of the domain.

Patty - wouldn't she need hosting on that domain name to use that though? I'm assuming when you say "not live", you don't have it hosted. Maybe I'm misunderstanding though.

Oh yes, I have hosting already but thanks for making sure, Kara.
I have many domains but have never used one for just a blog so I had no idea how to make it happen 
Patty: Thanks for the info on how to do it. I'm still debating on what I want to do for sure. I now need to find a template.
