Val asked us to start some business related posts to help her reach her silly goal and since she and I are working on a new affiliate management service ... I've got affiliate marketing on the brain.
So, do you have an affiliate program?
If so, feel free to tell us a little about it.

I have a newer affiliate program for Scrap Facts Guide. I'm using E-junkie and am new to it. So it's been brought to my attention that you can sign up for my affiliate program, BUT you don't know what the benefits are.
It's 40% commission and buttons and other ad resources will be on their way. _________________ Val

ROFL - Yeah, some affiliate marketers like to know that little detail.
We have an affiliate program with DirectSalesHelper.com. There we have a variety of different products - each one has a different flat price commission.
I also have a "private affiliate program" with my ebook Kickstart Your Online Business - however, I plan to soon make this a public program.
Currently we use PayDotCom.com for all of our affiliate programs. I like - actually I like it a lot.
However, someone has recently introduced me to E-junkie and I have a feeling I'm going to start using them a little more often.

If you don't have an affiliate program w/ your product or service - I highly recommend doing so. This is the best benefit I can possibly use.
Having an affiliate program is like having your own personal sales force selling for you. And you don't have to shell out a dime until they make a sale for you
Can't beat that!

Anne, do you mean that you own Fancy Soaps and started an affiliate company to get sales? If so, how come we haven't ever heard of this fancy soaps company from you? _________________ Val

Shhh! I am shy!
Funky Soaps sort of came about from Beauty Banquet, my online store. I had some soaps in stock there that were cute. I thought about sourcing more and found quite a few novelty soaps so I opened a separate shop. I joined clixgalore which is a site that people go to looking to join affiliate programs. I have listed there and had quite a few affiliates sign up. Some, of course, are just sites with lists of affiliate links which won't do any good. Some are legitimate sites which promote my store.
I need to learn more about how to get the best out of an affiliate program. The Beauty Banquet site has an affiliate program built into its software so learning about that is next on my list. _________________ Anne

There's no being shy if you want to make money. And FYI, you didn't put a link in your post even AFTER I ASKED! Give us the scoop lady, that is what we are all here for. _________________ Val

I love it! Very cute. Clean and bright, easy to navigate. We just need to figure out how to get you more affiliates in Australia since I'm going to assume you don't ship international? _________________ Val

You are up late? It is 8.23am Sunday morning here. |
I think the soaps would be fine to travel to the states, and it doesnt cost that much to ship.
When I owned FunkyDivaShop.com we used to ship all over the world without any problems and some of the products are similar to what you have on your site.
Think it'd be great for you to ship outside of AU.
and hmmm you're I believe 25 or 26 hours ahead of me, I'm Eastern Standard Time in USA

Anne, if we could promote you for very little extra shipping cost that would be awesome. TRULY! I will promote the heck out of your site on Mom's Indulgence. I am totally in love with homemade soaps. They are the best thing ever!
I am going to start a new post in the bath and body section,I started getting on a tangent here. lol _________________ Val
