Ok, so I have been with my company for a year now, but I have a question...
We can't do any active advertising with the company's name or logo in it. I know...it makes it difficult. Which is why I try and just talk to people about it when I get a chance. This is all great because I love to talk, but...if anyone has ANY other way to do this...I would love to talk to you!

I would consider starting a blog about natural products. You can talk about the benefits of natural products and lean towards benefits of your products of course. Then lead into for more information they can contact you.

Thanks! That is a great idea...now, another question. What blog places to you all recommend??? I'm a huge newbie when it comes to blogging as I have one, but really never did anything with it. I don't know how to make it look nice, etc.

With that being said...are they free? I'm on a budget! hehe

Hi Tonya,

I never understood and still don't understand how some direct sales have such policies.

I use to be a Tupperware Manager and its never an issue.

But Val's recommendation is excellent. Just blogging about the product in general without mentioning the products is a way. Blogging about how to look after your skin is also an option.

Blogger.com is the easiest way to blog. You can pick the template and blog away-its free. As you learn more about it, you can add more stuff, hire someone to customize the template for you etc.

You have many options.

wordpress.com is free as well. I'm partial to wordpress, but I've never used the free source only use it on my own hosting. But that said, hosting isn't that much. I have hosting that starts at only $3.50 and will make sure that wordpress is ready for you to rock. That is the format we actually build our sites on.

There is nothing wrong with using blogger and it is very easy to use.

I personally like blogger.com as you can promote affiliate links and monetize your blog whereas wordpress.com doesn't allow it. You can though buy a domain name and hosting and use wordpress.org then you have full control of your blog.

Thanks! I think I like the blogger site so that I can use the affiliate stuff too. May as well develop another stream of income.

So, now another question...i am so full of them! hehe...
Do you promote these?? or just pray someone stops to look at your blog, or do you do blog exchanges???

We have our own promotions going to get traffic to each other's blogs. Then there are also quite a few resources in the blog forum.
