Doug got his official offer with the company in CO and gave his notice to his work here yesterday.
His last day is Sept. 5th and he starts in CO on 9/16, so it looks like the week in between will be when we're making our move.
I'm launching a really cool project on Sept 1st and must be insane. (LOL)
Lauren and Angie, we have got to plan a date between now and 9/5 to get together!!!
edited to add: No, our house hasn't sold yet, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that sometime within the next month, something will happen. We'll probably rent for a while out there so that we can get a much better feel for the neighborhoods before be buy.

Congrats Patty! Fantasic news - and I hope you do sell quick! It would be nice to make that move without having to bridge the other mortgage! And yes...I too think you're insane, but isn't timing everything?? LOL!
For us to get together...I could probably set something up for MIL to babysit - she's giving me birthday money as a bribe to babysit the boys! LOL! So that Gurnee Mills idea might work! 
School starts here August 25th - we're out of town next week Thursday - Tues. but after that it's home til school!
You both have my cell # right? Cause the home line is always busy! LOL!

A Saturday will be perfect for me and as of right this minute, all those days are open for me but I'll verify with Kev tonight to make sure. How exciting! Can't wait

UGH! I saw this yesterday and still don't have an answer!
I'll email the two of you so everyone doesn't have to read our string of trying to set this up. Bob and I have hardly had a minute to catch up with each other the last couple of weeks - I totally forgot to talk to him about this last night when he got home. (OMG! The storms last night!  )
