|
|
Yee haw!! I'm so proud and happy to announce that Val & I are ready to launch our new Affiliate Management service!
(And this is the first public introduction ...)
Introducing .... drum roll please ....
www.YourAffiliateManagers.com
What is an Affiliate Manager?
An affiliate manager is someone who handles every aspect of your affiliate program freeing your time to concentrate on the more important things to you such as product purchasing or creation, customer service, shipping as well as everything else needed done in order to run a successful business.
An affiliate manager actively recruits new affiliates (building you an entire sales force), motivates your affiliates to be more active, participates in training and consultanting your affiliates, strategizes and consults the client in order create a knock-out affiliate program as well as many other services too numerous to list here. (Visit our services offered page to obtain a full list.)
Simply put, what we do is offer a full service solution to assist you in building and/or managing a successful affiliate program - also known as affiliate management or outsource program manager (OPM).
Meeting the needs of both the affiliates and the merchant …
And bridging the gap between the two …
Our goal is to recruit, motivate and communiticate with you and
your affiliates to obtain overall, maximum success!
And that's our little spiel ... we've already got three clients before even launching We're offering three different "menus" of services.
One being our "All Inclusive Menu" in which we offer both "Warm Ups" (for those who already have an affiliate program in place) and our "Full Course" (for those that have nothing more than an awesome product, product line or service and a strong desire to host a successfull affiliate program).
The next menu is our "Ala Carte' Menu" which is a mix of services that we do offer but are not included in our regular rate plans all individually priced.
And finally but certainly not least, we have our "Take Out Menu" which is a specially planned meal for those of you who simply need your affiliate program initially set up. We implement your new program and hand it over all packaged up for you to take home and enjoy running all on your own.
Please welcome the next big step in my online career ... www.YourAffiliateManagers.com
So girls - what do you think? I'd *love* to hear some feedback!
Take care,
Anita _________________

Thanks girls!
Patty - that seems to be the general concensus. I hadn't realized at first there was such a need until I did more research on it. I found a few that really were targetting the same people we were and I also found they were so busy that they were hiring additional help.
The rest that we found were no where near a price range the small business owner could afford - we're talking thousands of dollars just to get you set up. It's a little hard to put that much money into something before you're making money.
I think we found a great little niche - and not only that - way more important to me - I feel as though I've been meant to do this for a long time. I did a little "practice/testing" on one of our own affiliate programs that I personally left fall to the wayside
Simply because when I had a part time job, I didn't have the time to really take care of it. Before that, I was too busy with all my other online "stuff". Since then I've gotten rid of some of the not-so-profitable websites and tasks that I was doing. I honest to God with that fear of sounding so full of hype (lol) love affiliate managing!
There's still things online that I'll never give up (i.e. this forum and MHO) because they are my true passion too. However - this - this is my new career
Take care,

It's amazing how so many things come full circle.
Everything has fallen into place so quickly and the first clients as well. lol It was obvious we were supposed to do this.
Now I just have to do the same as Anita and scale back almost all my sites. It's just so hard to sell sites when you've worked on them for years. But there is no possibility of finding time to work on so many sites and handle clients as well. _________________ Val

I hear ya, there, Val. I know once I put my focus into action, it became apparent that many, well, all of my niche affiliate sites had to go.
The hardest thing? Letting their domains expire when they came up for renewal. For me, that was part of the "cleansing process" (LOL)
On another note.... with your new service, part of what I'm working with offline businesses (in addition to customer appreciation using SOC), is how to monetize their sites by showing them how to they can gain an online sales force and also promote relevant affiliate products in addition to their own proprietary product or service.
So, guess who I'll be referring them to in order to run their affiliate program..

Awesome! Thanks Patty! And as soon as I work on our reference page, I'll be sure to place a link on there Not sure just where yet, lol ... but definitely will! I know how to get creative! (Okay, sometimes!)
But seriously - we really appreciate that!

Well - if that's part of the cleansing process then I'm NOT clean I have not yet been able to do that. I like a lot of people go through the stage of domain-name-itis.
Well that and you know you get a great idea - run to see if the domain name is available. Then you find out it IS available and ya know ya gotta buy it right now because who knows when someone else is going to have that great idea too.
Good thing the cost is a tax deduction! If only the government found out how long they sat un-touched ... it might get iffy
I simply cannot let a domain name expire. I'd rather give the danged thing away first
What we do and what a VA does is very, very similar. For many years I've thought - why don't I start a VA business? But of course, for quite some time I didn't have the time to do so either.
Another reason I never did though has to do with the fact that sometimes I think the VA industry is a little full right now. Well, at least in our market anyway.
So - the fact that we found a much smaller niche in the VA industry makes me very, very happy, lol! And it incorporates all the things I like doing such as yep, I'm a geek, I love recruiting! I love creating sites and we'll be creating affiliate centers. I love writing (to an extent) ... the writing I like to do is the writing I'll be doing to contact affiliates. I could go on and on about how much I love each of the little "jobs" I'll be doing with this.

tell me Anita, how would this work with a home based biz?
Or is this service more designed for those who are an online biz? |

This is online. Basically if you own a company that sells products then it's about setting up and maintaining an affiliate program for you. Digital or physical products, doesn't matter.
If you have an affiliate team selling for you then you have tons of salespeople on your team. But basically they are all paid on commission. So when they make a sale they get a percentage of the sale.
Many people set up an affiliate program and then forget it. When you help your affiliates and keep in touch with them then you end up with more sales. _________________ Val
