Marketing Your Biz Offline Via Tip Booklets

A successful marketing tool for me has been my cooking tip and recipe booklets.

Has anyone else tried this marketing technique?

A few years ago I started making up my own mini booklets that are about 6-8 pages in length and measure approx. 4x6" in size.

Inside my booklets are cooking tips, recipes, menu ideas, etc. All things pertaining to my niche business.

In addition, I have my business information inside the cover so that people can shop my online store or contact me.

Every 6 months or so, I redo the booklet to keep it fresh. I hand them out locally which has really gotten my name out there in my community.

So, does anyone else do this?

I haven't tried this, Shelly, but it sounds like quite an idea. Have you been able to track any stats?... in other words, do you feel that you increased your bottom line with this technique?

I haven't tried it, but I'm putting recipe booklets together for xmas presents. Not sure why it didn't come to me to do them as a marketing tool.

I'll have to put some together for marketing the meal plan site. Would be easy to put together little one's to leave places and hand out. Who doesn't want some kitchen tips and recipes? Laughing

Yes I have tracked my results and found them to be fabulous. I include a coupon in my recipe booklets that they can redeem for 10% off their next order placed with me...I have had way too many to count coupons redeemed from those booklets.
