Many times the only thing keeping you from making good money and moving forward is fear. You'd be amazed at how much fear of failure or fear of success keeps you down.

I know it can sound weird, but with success comes different issues. It also brings new things into our lives. Many subconsciously worry about change and therefor hold back from really jumping forward with their business.

Let this year be different! Believe in yourself and decide to move forward.

This is a very busy time of year, but it's also a season of renewal. Right now you need to pull out those goals you had for 2009. See what you succeeded at and what still needs to be worked on.

Then it will be time to start working on the goals for 2010!

You know Val ... you're dead on. Isn't it funny to have a fear of success? For me it's not quite the fear of success that I've had a problem with. (That itself has a whole lot of good aspects to it.)

But what I have had problems with is one like you said ... change ... I don't do well with change (with just about anything). Another is what I call the Pedestal Factor. Crazy, huh? If I teach someone a few things ... that someone automatically assumes I know it all. When in fact, I'm learning new things every day right with everyone else. I thoroughly enjoy helping/teaching/mentoring others ... but don't put me on a pedestal, k? I'm not nearly as smart as you think I am, lol!

Great time to get this started Coach Val!

Happy Holidays!

Um I put you both on pedestals...well cause I luvs ya both Wink LOL Razz

You right on Val, people don't realize the fear factor! I for one don't embrace change in my personal life well, but I can roll with it...so it flows over to business a bit too.

I can't believe it's only Feb. and I had a major breakthrough in my business. For 2 years now I have wanted to do video and was soooo scared and I mean I was a total mess, thinking about it made me sick to my stomach, I would cry thinking about it but last weekend at the NAMS conference, I had a goal going there that I would somehow someway do a video. Well, I did and I actually did a total of 7 (2 for fun, 5 for business) so with that break through I know I can grow my business better this year. So scary and exciting all at the same time LOL

I wrote a blog post yesterday about How to get out of your comfort zone and linked to my first video that is online in that post.

I will have more and they will be on my blog but for now I linked out to it. Tell me what you think if you get a chance. I still get nervous watching myself on it and of course I'll get better over time.

Next challenge is to get my first article published on Ezine Articles. I am already thinking of the two goals I'll have for NAMS in Aug. I'm really pushing myself this year!

Applause Way to go hon!! I can't look right now but I will certainly take a look as soon as possible! (Hopefully first thing tomorrow!) I can't wait to see them!

That is so awesome and I really can't wait to read your post too! I *know* I'm going to need it. I don't know why the video thing has scared the heck out of me too but it's on my list for the year. I have too many other things that need done now to mess with it just yet. But, you and I must have been on the same wavelength here! I just downloaded software for my - hope to do - videos. (Just today!! lol!)

Hopefully your post and videos will help me get out of my comfort zone too!

Will definitely give ya my opinion too!

Congrats for getting out of your zone!! That ROCKS!

Take care,
Anita Razz

Okay, how about first thing Monday morning instead of Sunday morning? lol!

I left a comment on your blog but I wanted to share it here too:

Wow! That's fantastic Angie!! You and Scott both have some fabulous insight and are great motivators to both step out of your comfort zone and keep moving! So inspiring!

I have this very funny feeling you're going to reach that 10 video goal long before August. You're past the hard part!

Yep, I gotta work on getting out of that comfort zone now myself!

And now girl, you've got this out of the way ... getting published on EzineArticles is going to be a breeze!! I'm actually shocked you don't have anything there arlready! For as much writing as you do on your blog and everything else, I just assumed.

Hmm ... maybe an article on stepping outside your comfort zone may be in order?? Wink

Keep up the great work hon!

Take care,
Anita Razz

You're quite welcome!

And see ... you write an article about stepping outside your comfort zone. Then, for the bio for that article ... you can write something like: I don't just talk the talk - I walk the walk ... and post a link to your blog post Wink

Okay, maybe that's a little cheesy ... Laughing
(But I do kind of like it too, lol! Good thing it's your article!)

Can't wait to see your new article!

Take care,
Anita Razz
